Took an hour to get our food. Not terribly busy inside (2:15pm after lunch rush). Several tables came in after we ordered our entrees got their food well before us. The manager came by and stated the blue plates are quicker and we came in behind a big party. I got the Shrimp and Grits and my husband got the Hamburger Steak blue plate. When it came out, mine was hot but the Hamburger Steak plate was cold. My guess is the blue plate sat while everything else was waiting to be prepared. Waiter and manager were super friendly and tried to resolve our issues as best as they could. My husband is very easy going and he was pretty disappointed. Atmosphere was chill. Despite the issues, I would give them a second chance.

My son seemed to enjoy the pizza. We also ordered the peach cobbler. At first I thought it was too much dough but the dough was really good with it’s buttery flavor and right amou t of sweetness.

We’ve always loved GB. We enjoyed a few cocktails and a few appetizers after a sad time saying goodbye to a great friend of ours. We enjoyed the Dynamite Shrimp and the Fried Crawfish Tails. We took home some chicken tenders for the kids.

Place was really good. Really enjoyed it. Server added nothing to the experience, wasn’t the best but did his job. Guy took our order and we didn’t see him again till he picked up dirty dishes. Really liked the wontons and the pasta. Will certainly be back. Bet this place gets super busy and for good reasons.

I ordered the Surf and Turf burger! It was delicious and delectable! The shrimp sauce to add was unbelievably good. However, my wife ordered the chicken alfredo to pair with a nice wine, and it was pretty salty. So salty, that we couldn’t consume it. Other than that, the takeout hostesses were remarkable, and the vibe was pretty chill.

We stopped here on our way back out of town after visiting some family. The food was great there were no real complaints. Our Waiter Robert did an exceptional job, was very friendly, professional and funny which we appreciated. Definitely would recommend.

First time here and I can’t wait to come back! The portion sizes are big. Seasoning was on point. We were a part of a larger group as we came after a funeral, but my meal actually wasn’t entered in until after our full party was served their meals so my plate was to go (meaning my meal wasn’t eaten fresh out of the kitchen). The staff were kind. The place was clean. I will definitely be back to visit!

We ordered the fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, the Mardi Gras, and the breakfast bowl. We also got two different pastas and the chicken dish with gravy to go. Everything was absolutely delicious—so good that no one could finish their plate in one sitting! We’ll definitely be back!
