This place was packed and it was really hard to hear anything, the bathroom were also having some issues. I loved the Japanese birthday song for my brother, that was fire. The alcholic drinks were super good. Everything was cooked well besides one chewy piece of chicken… sauces were good too, didn’t have any complaints there. Ice cream was super dense but not bad. The cook was sort of just gone the entire time he was cooking like o_o, No smile. Might have ruined the vibe laughing because I lol about the raw chicken being touched then the same spatula with the rest of the food. I assumed its fine but did make me nervous so I laughed. I loved the experience but it was a bit weird how the food was given out. I got full so it wasn’t bad but for 50-100 per person and almost 0 take away when one person was barely eating was also wild to me haha. Idk if I’d go again specially bc I woke up hungry in the middle the night.

We had such a great time at Benihana. The food was awesome, and Chef Dennis absolutely nailed everything. We even put in a huge order for extra rice, and he handled it like it was no big deal. The whole experience was fun, the service was upbeat, and our drinks stayed filled the entire time.
All around, just a fantastic night. We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve had Benihana’s in Anchorage twice. One dine in and one take out. Both times the food was blah, just not good. The rice had an aftertaste that we just couldn’t place. The vegetables were burnt. We got a shrimp burrito and it had 4 shrimps cut into pieces to make it look like it was more.

Been here a few times and am pleased with the show and food each time. Mainly you here for the show in my opinion. We have gotten good service when we come. Thanks Anchorage team!
You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu it is all delicious but my favorite is the Tuna Steak! This time around I got steak and shrimp and that is the photo. You feel upscale for sure with all the courses offered in your meal. The photo offered at the end for your party is still a nice touch, it can be silly but I think they should certainly keep it.

We came in for sushi for the first time, and had a wonderful dinner! Alicia was working both the bar and lounge, and was still very attentive and friendly! She gave some great suggestions, and really knew the menu/specials going on. We experienced great service, and the sushi was fresh. We’ll definitely be back.

Came here with husband and kids expecting amazing food but instead we got delayed service 40-60 min before the grill master came out to cook our food despite it being dead slow in the restaurant. The noodles were doused with what tasted like worcestershire sauce to the point where my easy going kids didn’t even like the noodles and my stomach hurt the next day. For the price you pay here, save your money. Go elsewhere. Unless you just so happen to get a grill master who has better cooking skills than ours… then good for you.

I loved this restaurant, it was my birthday and they were very kind about it. They didn’t make a big deal but they did show their appreciation! Our great waitress, Amber, was always there and always made us smile with her great comments! And David our chef had cool and amazing tricks! Second order i decided to get miso soup and a steak borrito. The miso soupbwas warm and made me say ooh mommy. Somehow i got a salad which was on point. Crispy lettuce tasty vinaegrette and squirt in your mouth tomatoes. The steak borrito was meh, i think the tortilla detracted from the taste of the habachi rice and steak. Maybe grill the tortilla or add veggies idk it was like eww and then its okay until i had to take another bite so i scooped out the rice and steak lol.
First order.Got the edamame, beef fried rice and shrimp fried rice. Food tasted pretty good was only lacking in amount of meat but still hit the spot. Nectarine is to show size because i couldnt tell from other pictures. All the meat is on the top so probably 2 shrimp cut up and 2 bites of meat but only paid 10 bucks per fried rice so i think its a good deal. Ordered from grubhub and it was fast (15-20mins).

Vic was an incredible server. Drinks never ran low, she anticipated everything before we could even ask. Kevin was our chef and the food was excellent and he made our whole table laugh. Excellent birthday meal with our large group!
