We have been supporters of Spuds for many years, and loved it. Things are not even close to the same. I can no longer support this establishment and that breaks my heart. This salad was $10, was wilted without anything resembling a salad that we ever got from here, and we ordered 2. $29 for a greasy underdone, yet burnt crust pizza, swimming in grease. You could not pick up slices as they were so soggy. We asked for no squares, wedge cut, and got squares. Over $50 and I would have preferred pb&j. This is robbery and we will not be back. It takes a lot for us to leave a small business, but this is the last time to give Spuds one more try.

Very short and smug staff both over the phone and in person. All I did was order takeout and they seemed annoyed I called at all. Decent pizza, the crust is surprisingly good though! Would only ever order takeout if I were to revisit…

Trust me, when I say this is legit Midwest Chicago style pub pizza. My father used to own a restaurant for 30 years. This is as close to his recipe that I have tasted. I moved from there about 20 years ago to move Washington and have been amazed that there is no good pizza out here. The place reminds me of the bars my dad’s friends used to own and used to go to to shoot darts after working at the restaurant at a young age. The only other spot is Old School Pzza in Olympia. But that is more like true New York pizza. However at Spuds muahhhhh! Thanks for bringing back memories. Anyone who doesn’t like the pizza doesn’t know true pizza.. It’s even better the next day

Edit for 2024. The menu has been updated and may not be the same. The sweet and spicy fries with Parmesan are crunchy, amazing and some of the best in town. They now do family karaoke in the main restaurant 3 to 7 pm on the weekend. Edit with newer owners. 12/30/22. This place has consistency now and the value of the food for what you get is really good. Here’s the menu hack is recommend. Get the garlic bread with sausage on it. You’ll be glad you did. Drinks aren’t bad either. Happy hour and updated menu are making me want to come back regularly for mimosas breakfast with the kids, that sort of vibe you can’t quite get with an old school place like this. The dessert was a little crunchy for a large brownie with ice cream on it, but let’s be honest that pretty descent bar back there is what you want when you don’t have kids with you……I haven’t been here since I was a kid. And thankfully I came back. The bar is why you want to come here. Those sweet honey garlic fries on happy hour for 5 bucks is the real winner here and the good mixed drinks. The pizza isn’t really good, but the staff is really nice and they are reasonably priced pizzas that taste better than something from a box for sure. I will be back. Love the atmosphere and a good environment with it’s own old school vibe is the way to go. I’m glad the newer owners are taking pride and care of the customers.

I’ve visited a couple times and my first few visits were great when it was a small amount. I had like it so much that I placed a large order (like$300) for a party to be ready at a specific time and when we went to pick it up, it was not even warm. We had to put it in our oven at home to reheat it and it was not good. People hardly ate it and we ended up tossing it out. Pictures/video from a previous occasion, small personal order and why I liked it so much.

***Please note this picture was taken the next day.
My boyfriend used to go here and he would rave about Spud’s, but unfortunately this was a pretty bad experience for both of us…
We paid $45 for a large, overdone, dry garlic chicken pizza with bacon bits( we thought it was actual cooked bacon, but it was the cheap chalkykind you can buy at the store…). They had accidentally put onion on, which seemed like a plus, but with each bite it just made us regret getting this pizza more and more…
Definitely wasn’t worth the price and felt incredibly disappointed when we got home.
We tried to eat as much as we could because we paid so much and were hungry, but it was pretty awful…I’ve never had pizza this bad… Even the use of the bacon bits added a weird flavor that made the pizza oddly sweet and chalky.

It’s been a while. New management and updated menus. Happy I was still able to get my favorites… jumbo wings and I’m talking JUMBO! And our customized pizza of cheese, pineapple and jalapeño with white sauce! The bartenders are so wonderful and accommodating! Our friend’s Tami and Mike are regulars here so it’s just a fun party!

The pizza was great and had to wait to eat bc it was so fresh from the oven. Finally a great pizza place with great customer service and friendly staff. The place is well taken care of and clean and sanitary. A great place for families. The bar is well kept a bartender with positive personality. I will be a return customer for sure.

We have always loved Spuds. I drive from Everett with my daughter to enjoy the food. The place is old and not well kept but as long ss food is delicious I don’t care what looks like. The shrimp salad and Spuds combination pizza my favorites. I went to Ocean Shores on Tuesday and stop by Spuds. To my disappointment they are closed. It looks like a hard close. Delinquent notices on locked door. Heartbreaking. This is the second pizza place I enjoy that has closed. Economy sucks. Even though they had been raining prices to keep up, still closed. I did check online before stopping but Google said open. Please update your information. I would have made different choices based on this information. Sorry you’re in this situation. My parents brought us here from a young age. I’ve been able to bring my children. It’s a great loss to the community.
