My family and I absolutely love Joe Fish! We went there last night to celebrate my birthday. Ryan was our server, he was excellent! We keep coming back here because the menu is so awesome. It’s not all fried food! They have many different seafood options cooked different ways. I’ve never had a bad meal here! My ONLY suggestion is to PLEASE EXPAND!! We need more Joe fish’s or a much bigger one! There Is always a long wait because it’s so delicious but many times can’t get in because the place is so small. This time, fortunately we were able to make a reservation because it was a party of six and our table was ready for us as soon as we walked in. That was nice. Very impressive. I really hope Joe Fish plans to expand in the near future!
FYI.. The jumbo fried shrimp, haddock chunks with the lobster sauce, and stuffed shrimp are to die for! Ohhh, and AMAZING mashed potatoes! 🙂

Food and service were really good. Casual New England style seafood plates. Had the beer battered haddock filet and jumbo fried shrimp platter. The onion rings are really good also, homemade, crispy, and sweet. Come hungry!

Was in the mood for seafood and came across this local place- and boy am I glad we did!!
Hubby got fried haddock and shrimp, slaw, and the AMAZING mashed potatoes. I got blackened salmon over the bacon and corn risotto (pictured). I ate until I needed to be rolled out of the restaurant. The food was AMAZING. If i lived nearby, this would be my go to place.
Our server was wonderful too. The place is a local, VERY popular eatery, and now we know why. The kitchen and staff run like a well oiled machine.
You won’t be disappointed!

We had a delightful evening. I really enjoyed that it wasn’t too loud to talk, there was enough space between tables we didn’t feel cramped. The service was on point, the food was delicious and we definitely look forward to coming back again!

Spur of the moment decision to eat here at Joe Fish Casual Seafood, we both had the Tuesday Special, stuffed shrimp with crab and rice pilaf for the side, wife had the vegies and I had the corn pico. Both were fantastic. Also had a dozen Chesapeake Bay oysters on the half shell. The service and our waitress, Laura, was absolutely great. Food was very delicious. Highly recommend you have dinner here.

Being from the South, I have enjoyed Southern style seafood – Calabash shrimp, fried flounder, salt n pepper catfish – but when my husband and I started vacationing in Maine, we were introduced to New England style seafood. It just hits different. I am so glad to have found Joe Fish and specifically their haddock. Also, the side dishes were so delicious and generous that we took home enough leftovers for a FULL meal. Finally, the staff was super friendly and efficient. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful first time at Joes dining experience! Fresh seafood prepared very well. No waiting to be seated as we came on a Thursday just before the crowds arrived. Ryan was a great waiter. Food came out VERY hot. All three of us wondered why we had never eaten here. We will be back soon! No complaints from us.

Looks like an average small restaurant in a strip mall. Turns out it is much better. Went on a Friday night and did have about 30 minute wait. Service was prompt and courteous and the food was great. We had a variety of baked and fried seafood and all was good. They have baked potato and fries, but did not see any hush puppies. Onion rings looked good, but did not order them. Wait time on food was a tad but the restaurant was at full capacity.
Dessert menu sounded good. Settled on their “brookie” which is a brownie/cookie combination with ice cream, whipped topping, and garnished with chocolate syrup. Very good.

Shrimp Cocktail fresh and flavorful.
Calamari again fresh and cooked perfect, with 3 really good sauces.
Homemade salad dressings.
Chilean Sea bass with Risotto was cooked perfect and very good.

I have eaten here before but never taken my wife, shame on me! We had dinner last night Saturday and sat at the bar – our bartender provided epic service!!! Wish all servers were that good!!
We started withe creamy crab dip and it was outstanding! My wife had the shrimp over risotto, it was epic!! Very tasty and a great portion. I had the haddock imperial and it was good, but I would try another dish next time.
We had a great time and plan on returning soon and often!! Great service, lots of options, and fair prices for quality seafood in Mooresville of all places!?!
