Fantastic service, nestled right on the water. I was able to have a seat outside to enjoy the last of the sunny days before fall hits in full effect in Washington. Very peaceful scenery to watch the boats go by while watching seals swim.
I went with the fish and chips and pan fried oysters. Oysters were delicious! Perfect texture and batter was spot on.
My fish was pretty good too, love the crispness of the fries. I think the tarter sauce could use some work. Tarter makes all the difference, your cocktail sauce is delicious. If the tarter was better I’d probably enjoy the fish more. No complaints really, could possibly be a little more crisp which is hard to do with a beer batter. Fish was excellent tasting, fresh. I’d definitely go back here again, service was top notch and my wait for a seat out on the deck was a short 15 min.

A nearby shop owner raved about the fish and chips here, so we gave it a try.
Good-sized portions; two of us (small appetites) shared the two piece cod with fries and coleslaw. We even left a few fries behind!
•Fries 5/5: hot, crispy, crunchy outside, soft inside, not over-seasoned, delish!
•Fish 3.75/5: cooked to perfection, flavorful, fresh; perfect ratio of batter to fish.
•Coleslaw 2.5/5: nothing exciting, but I didn’t come for the coleslaw, so it’s a non-issue.
Staff were attentive and friendly. Tables were clean. Washrooms were spotless. I’d recommend eating here if you’re in the mood for fish and chips, or other seafood, and view of the water!
Side note: I got the impression the mussel pot is a hit here, nearly every table was sharing a bowl.

Happy hour all day here for drinks. Draft beers only $3 each. We got the shrimp cocktail to share as a snack as we weren’t very hungry. It was very tasty. The other patrons were having burgers and such and the portions looked good. The food prices were very cheap for 2025. Our server Andrea was super friendly. Definitely will be recommending this pub to others.

Update 4/6/24: Revisited last weekend, some woman server of my next table is rude but my server is wonderful. I was sitting outside on the porch enjoying the view after hours of walking in the tulips field! I was first to sit and I was starving. Of course, I wanted to order food right away. I asked several servers and they’re not serving me because I have only one person, but the next table’s server is very rude even I was just asking! This needs to be addressed, it’s not the first time!!

Definitely a more small town vibe here so we waited a bit for a menu and drinks but I expected that walking in blind to a new place however Julie the bartender is a incredible addition to this establishment. Right off the bat shes was kind, funny and accommodating – She served me and my sister and I got the sample while she got the fish and chips. I wish I could bring some of the fish and chips home – they might actually be the best in town but we were just passing through La Conner.
We initially just were looking for a place with pull tabs and this was a pleasant surprise to come down to from Anacortes.
