We really liked the food here, especially the wings and trash can nachos! However the service was really not that good. We waited a while for our server to come to the table and she wasn’t very attentive (we wanted to order more food and didn’t get a chance to until long after we finished what came out first). Everyone was super friendly, they just need to be more attentive. For this reason along with the high prices for the small to medium sized portions, I would say 3 stars is a fair rating! It’s a good choice overall on the resort, it’s just expensive and you might wait a while is all.

Awesome atmosphere. We were the on Presidents Day weekend. Only reason I didn’t give it a better rating was because the line was a mile long. They should have been better staffed and ready for a holiday weekend rush like that.

This food is straight garbage. My wife and I ordered bulgogi and 20 mile tacos with my son getting the mountain burger. The tacos had about a half cup of meat between our 6 tacos with rice dumped on them with most of my wife’s toppings missing. How do you serve onion rings with no onion in them?! Total ripoff!

We had the nicest time last night! The drinks and food were terrific( I got the Pineapple Express and the Tuscan pasta which were both delicious)! The live music was awesome! Wednesday is live music and discounted wine; we had a blast! Definitely a cool place to hang out for the evening! The bartender (I’m so sorry, I didn’t catch his name) was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and our server, Marisol, was terrific! (Just a note when visiting here, it was chilly outside and there is limited seating indoors; make sure you get there early!) Would love to come back here again!

Good spot for a drink on a sunny day with a view of the ski slopes. Went in the summer and the tables with umbrellas provided some nice shade. The nachos had really fresh chips, plenty of freshly cut jalapeños, a nice side of salsa. Haven’t tried their food yet.

Tried famous canned loaded nachos. Kind of ok when compared to other places. But most stars for the location and vibes.

Casual and perfect for at bottom of ski slope. Music – beers good – lots of choices on tap. Good Nachos.

Like most people at the Massanutten Resort, we didn’t want to go into town for dinner. Eating here was a little regrettable. Nothing was great. The traschan nachos were anticlimactic and just average at best.

I am very disappointed with our visit today to base camp at around 730pm. We sat at the comfortable seating to sit, eat and enjoy Gypsy town music. The staff member after seeing no one waited on us when to check who my server was. Another person came over to us with long red hair and said we can’t sit there bc we don’t have 5 or more in our party. I said I’d sit with other people. She said no she can’t do it unless our whole group of 5 was present. Now none of the outdoor patio furniture had anyone seated at any of them. She was not rude and probably just following the management rules. But let me say that is ridiculous bc in the past I have made acquaintances by sitting around those fire pits. All you would need to do is say if other people would like to sit you’re going to have to let them sit where there is a vacant seat. So instead of waiting for my other three friends that were coming we texted them and said this is ridiculous I can’t take it and don’t bother coming cuz we’re leaving. So I think you really should look at your rules and think about changing that situation.
And another friend stopped in at 9pm and sent me picture of patio furniture not even being used…. The place wasn’t busy. Well you just lost a customer maybe permanently and I live on the MTN .
Ps there was no way to find a phone number that I could reach the restaurants to leave this for the management

Came here for a decent family Thanksgiving dinner. Waiting for 45 mins(was told couple mins) for party of 3. Sat down, server never showed up to bring the drinks. I got up and asked the guy who showed us to our seat. Its been 20 mins and we didn’t get our drinks, he said, ok I will get her. She doesn’t have our water and ask what do you guys wants to drink? I think its a common sense, when restaurant is busy, you saw the customer sit down, just bring the waters, if they want anything else, then bring it later.
I went to the buffet area, saw the plates, mostly came out of dishwasher, wet and half dirty (spots here and there, leftover food here and there), bread didn’t get fill up for 25 mins. They serving soup but no bowls. Waiting 10 mins for bowls and came out dirty and wet as well.
No spoons for soup. I went back to my seat with my daughter and thr water still not there. I ate half of the food on my plate, and I got up, looking around, trying to find the server. No where to be found, then I saw her walking around in the corner and I asked, where is out waters, she was taking a big sigh and said “ok, I know… im trying”. I was so upset at this server. Yes, I understand its busy night, but looks like she only have 5 tables. I dont think this is a lot. I was a server myself, so I know, plus this is all you can eat kind of restaurant, she doesn’t need to bring food, just need to bring waters or fill up waters. Its ridiculous, I wont recommend this place ever
