One of the best gluten free restaurant meals I’ve had. Item aren’t marked as gluten free on the menu but the waiter was knowledgeable. I got the beef and my wife got the trout, both of which are gluten free. Absolutely delicious! They even included tasty gluten free toast.

We got dessert as well. The chocolate mousse is gluten free if you get it without the topping. My wife’s pumpkin pot de crème was gluten free as well.

Side note: The waiter said that the fries “have a little bit of gluten” so I assume they’re just not in a dedicated fryer. Something to keep in mind if you get the burger, for which a gluten free bun is available.

Ate at the bar in the sidecar. Love the woodwork and exposed brink, along with the Edison lighting. The meal was spectacular. The main dining room was completely full at 8:45 on a Sunday. Two bars are available to eat at, I’d choose the sidecar every day.

Only ate appetizers but food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more! I think this is a great spot to come as a group, date or I was alone while traveling for work.

Brunch was a perfect amount, and since we were celebrating our waitress brought out a dessert for us to share. She was very attentive and sweet. Highly recommend the brunch!

If Google didn’t require a minimum of one star, I would have given zero.

I ordered my steak medium-well. What came out was more overcooked than most well-done steaks I’ve seen. I gave the server my feedback immediately, and she didn’t even bother to really look at the steak before insisting, very confidently, that “this is medium-well.” Her tone made it sound like she was mocking me for never having eaten a steak before.

I then turned on my phone flashlight and showed her the completely grey, dried-out interior. Only then did she reluctantly say she could have it remade, while also telling me she had no idea how long I would have to wait. I thought about it and decided to just leave it, but once I actually tried the steak, it turned out to be drier than beef jerky. This was the worst steak I have ever had in my life.

Later on, Someone came over to apologize I think maybe is the manager , she sent us two desserts, and removed the steak from the bill. Honestly, I didn’t care that much about the money. What really made me angry was the server’s attitude. If she had simply admitted the mistake from the beginning instead of arguing with me, I wouldn’t have been upset at all.

Either way, I will never come back to this restaurant for the rest of my life.

We thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu evening out. It was our first visit to Brasserie, and for the most part, we were transported back to our time street-side dining in some of our favorite French cities. With the exception of our steak, every dish was prepared to perfection. The combination of food, wine, and drink were truly impressive. Regrettably, the service did not meet our expectations. While it was not entirely lacking, it was somewhat inadequate. Our server was courteous and helpful, but certain aspects of exceptional table service were overlooked, perhaps due to the vast area he was responsible for serving. I must deduct one star from the atmosphere because Brasserie displays banners promoting woke ideology that advocate for the termination of human life.

A Memorable Dinner Experience – Thanks to Grace

We went out for a family dinner and had a great time. The moment Grace came to our table to help serve, she lit up the room. Our main waitress did her job well, but what stood out about Grace was her warm presence and smile.

In my culture, the face before the food matters — a welcoming smile sets the tone for the meal. Even if the food is amazing, without that connection, something feels missing. Grace brought that warmth, and it made our experience complete.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the best French restaurant in St. Louis

We visited on a rainy and cold Saturday night for our son’s birthday. The place was lively, busy, and perfectly French brasserie in look and feel.

After ordering a bottle of wine, we were started off with the house bread, a long roll, twisted into smaller ones, served directly on the brown butcher paper covering our table. Each of us were given our own little ramekin of butter.

As an appetizer, one of us enjoyed their French onion soup, and the rest of the table sampled the escargot, which were swimming in a decadent butter sauce. For dinner, my husband tried the braised beef because of the tantalizing reviews he’d seen and was not disappointed. Generous chunk of beefs in a rich sauce, surrounded by luscious carrots and potato puree. My son opted for the Bistro Steak, which came out exactly as he’d ordered it with crispy steak fritters. I ordered the duck confit which was amazing! The skin was wonderfully crips and salty and the duck meat was tender and flavorful.

We ordered a couple of desserts – the profiteroles (four small ones that came with miniature gravy boat of chocolate sauce for pouring-over) and the chocolate mouse. And they threw in their floating island dessert, topped with a birthday candle for my son!

I can’t say enough about the caring and warm service. The request we made with our reservation for a corner table at the back was granted because one of our party has some hearing issues. The location made it so much easier to talk with one other in the bustling, high-energy space. When our entrees were delayed, the manager made sure to come over to see what else she could provide as we waited and our waitress expedited our order.

Even though it looked like the place was at capacity and there were other establishments nearby, we found a good amount of pay-to-park (Park Mobile) street parking, just two-minute walk further up the street.

I highly recommend Brasserie and plan to visit again when we’re back in St. Louis!

This was our first visit. It was recommended by a friend. We loved it! The food was outstanding. Our server was the perfect combination that a server should be. He was always there before we needed something, he knew answers to our questions and he was nice.
We ordered a burger and fries, and the pot roast. Both were outstanding. The drinks were special too.
We sat inside since we had never been there and wanted to experience it. Patio dining looked like it would have been nice also, depending on the weather.

My dining experience at this restaurant was quite enjoyable overall. The establishment provided a lovely atmosphere that was complemented by an elegant and inviting environment. While the quality of the food was satisfactory, it didn’t particularly stand out. However, I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional level of service demonstrated by their well-trained staff.

Despite these positive aspects, I couldn’t help but feel that our server was somewhat rushed in their approach, which unfortunately detracted from the overall experience.
