Our first time dining here, greeted and seated.
The food tasted amazing, had great flavor and was put together well on the plate. Our daughter wanted to try something new and ordered the lobster enchiladas (she is a seafood lover) but unfortunately after the first 2 – 3 bites she said it was making her stomach hurt. So she passed on this meal..
I offered her the chicken chimichanga that my husband and I were sharing but she declined.
I would have paid for it because I do not think it was bad food (looked and smelled fine) but the manager on site took it off our receipt. (Which i had asked her not to do)
This just shows me that they value the food they bring out and to provide “excellent” customer service to their community. (what the majority of citizens would call “excellent” customer service)

I tried the place for the first time. To begin with, it is more expensive than all the Mexican restaurants I tried but money well spent. The location is designed well.
The taste of the food was not super special but the selection was very huge. The people there very helpful and let us find the best choice for our restrictions. The portion of the food was enormous and one single meal can kill one person easily. The quickly refill the chips and salsa and the salsa tasted great. We asked for spicy food and they brought two cups of hot salsa which tasted great. It would be a good choice to fill up when close to mall but you have to compromise for the price.
I recommend trying at least once.

Very impressed. I’ve been to the mall so many times and never even gave it a thought to eat there, but we were out and about on a random Tuesday and decided the food court just wasn’t going to cut it… We gave it a go. I’m glad we did. It was very good, authentic and fresh.

Very beautiful with friendly service. Quality of food was great and variety of Margaritas . Don’t miss out . I was taking pictures for their new location 300 Madison ave behind Key bank in downtown Toledo business center. They will open soon serving awsom breakfast too . Definitely must try Eggs bacon avocado taco breakfast delicious. The food Pictures I’m posting if for new location however you can get the Margaritas at any location

My family and I were looking for a new place to eat and we decided to give Don Juan’s Bar & Grill a try. Let me tell you that we are very happy that we did. The restaurant is charming, warm and friendly. The staff was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The food is absolutely delicious. We started our meal with the beef and cheese nachos and when they brought them to the table the portion was huge. They were delicious and well worth the price. For dinner I had the ground beef and chicken chimichangas and they were the best that I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the shredded beef and carnitas chimichangas and the meat in both were tender and delicious. Our son had the combo#11 which had a ground beef taco, a ground beef burrito and a ground beef enchilada. The server that we had was the manger’s wife and she was very friendly and always checking on us. She made it a very enjoyable experience for us. The desserts were just as delicious and well worth the price as the dinner. My wife got the fried ice cream. I got the chimi cheesecake with ice cream. Our son had the churros with ice cream and it was in this huge sundae glass. Look, if you are looking for someplace to take the family or just a quiet dinner for 2 Don Juan’s is the place to go. You will not be disappointed…

Our experience at Don Juan’s Franklin Park was absolutely dreadful. The service was a nightmare, the price of the food went up dramatically, and the servings were small. We would never ever go back to Don Juan’s in Franklin Park. So, by a nightmare, I mean that we waited more than an hour for guacamole!! And bean dip!! And a taco salad! That is impossibly long, isn’t it? The bill, after I had to chase down the server, was $12 more than previous, for smaller portions poorly prepared. What I received was an apology – woefully inadequate – from a manager who was in charge of orders, and who knew just how poorly we had been served.

Usually places attached to a mall are just average, but Don Juan’s really exceeds this level. Had the Fiesta Nachos with beef, shrimp, chorizo, and zucchini, very good, and enough for both my wife and I. Nice atmosphere, wait staff is super attentive and friendly. What can I say, check out this place if you haven’t!

We came in at around 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. It was not very busy. It took a little bit for the server to arrive but she was very apologetic. She was very friendly. Took our order and food and drinks came out quickly. Food was tasty! Not gourmet but very well done. I would eat here again.
