I had an absolutely wonderful visit at the Qdoba Mexican Restaurant in Iselin, New Jersey. The service was superb from start to finish — it was fast, and friendly.
But what truly made my experience stand out were the employees, Dachel, Ywain, Jaylian, and Lorenzo. Every single team member I encountered was amazing, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were taken care of. Their positive energy made the whole atmosphere feel warm and inviting.
The food was fresh and delicious (as always)but the staff is what turned a normal meal into a memorable experience. Thank you, Qdoba Iselin team — you truly shine!

Everytime I come to this Qdoba they are always out of an ingredient. Whether it’s steak or the bowl shell, I always end of getting something I don’t want just because I made the trip. The burrito that I ended up getting was like half the size of a normal burrito it was so small the portions, not a happy customer.

I came here because I heard great things about the food. When I walked in the atmosphere was just sad. The employees seemed to hate their lives. Talking quietly, not asking questions. I had ordered a custom burrito and asked for shredded lettuce. The person making the burrito instead of clarifying with me put pickled onions on it. In what world does shredded lettuce sound like pickled onions? What’s worse is I had to clarify with her and ask what she put on the burrito. After she made it the cashier was zoned out and rude. I said I wanted a Dr pepper and he snapped “we only have Dr pepper on the machine”. Then when I paid he completely zoned out for a full 3 minutes before handing me my receipt.

Ordered online yet 15+ mins later when I got there and gave them my name I was informed I didn’t order from there…showed them my order which clearly stated I did. Since they were busy doing something (not preparing anyone’s meals and I was the only person there) I waited about 3 more mins. Eventually I got it. I had to keep repeating myself to let her know what I wanted on my burrito. But the disposition of the worker (there was only 1 at the counter) was just tacky altogether. Not how I would want my business represented.

I recently tried a vegetable cheese burst quesadilla for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was delicious and offered great value at $10. The place was quiet when we visited, making for a pleasant experience. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Food was quite bland for me (veggies, meat, rice, even the guac) except maybe the lime pickled onions.
Many of the options in the soda machine were out
The tea container wasn’t closed (brewing basket left in the machine, was not actively brewing, we were there over an hour)
The bag that our food came in had some writing on it (not offensive but somewhat weird)
Bathrooms were quite gross and horribly out of paper products
Staff was nice enough though.

Shy always goes above and beyond — he generously fills my bowls, stays cheerful, and is incredibly accommodating without ever making it feel like an inconvenience. His positive attitude truly makes the experience even better every time!

The team of workers at this Qdoba are elite!
I walk in there’s two employees absolutely killing it, they were wiping down the tables like their lives depended on it. Very hard working. That aside, I go into the line, there’s one person ahead of me and the guy helping the customer in front of me makes eye contact and tells he’ll be there to help me in just a moment since he was helping someone else. Great service even when busy. But he didn’t need to because Luis came in and with a smile asked me what he could get for. I tell him my order and he delightfully starts making my bowl, asking me questions and being an overall joy. I just knew I had to leave a review! But what tops it all off is that when I was leaving (with my hands full of food) an employee named Edgar (I think is his name) held the door open for me. That’s above and beyond service right there. Best Qdoba I’ve been to honestly.
The food is very delicious, the produce are fresh. The restaurant is clean, the ambience of the place is such a vibe I do recommend.
