Great food and service. I also want to thank them, for keeping my wallet safe after inleft it behind. Even with all my money in it too. Appreciate it. Portion sizes are good too, not sure what the other reviewer meant. Only minor complaint would be the bean soup was slightly cold and didnt have any flavor. The tasty meal made up for it.

The place is so clean. A customer spilled their drink. They clean it in a fast and timely manner. They greet me when I enter and exit. Raymundo was very polite and very helpful. The Establishment has beautiful designs on the wall and colors. The food was warm and delicious. I truly recommend this place. I’m a happy Customer.

I placed an order through Toast and went to pick it up about 20 minutes later. When I arrived, I was told there was no order under my name. The young woman at the counter seemed new, so I asked another employee for help. He told me the same thing and completely ignored me when I tried to ask additional questions. When I asked the girl about speaking with the manager, she told me the manager was on break — the guy then laughed with her and went to talk to the manager himself.
When the manager finally came out, she was apologetic and explained that our food had never been made. By that point, we had already been waiting around 40 minutes total (about an hour since the order was placed). She told us she would issue a refund, and that it should appear in 3–5 business days. Before we left, she found that our order had been sitting under the cash register the entire time.
Unfortunately, it’s now been three weeks, and I still have not received the refund of $47.58. I even called the restaurant a week later and left a message for the manager, but never received a call back.
This experience was unacceptable — not only was the service unprofessional and disrespectful, but I’m now being charged for food I never received.

Same food, low quality compared to other restaurants, but its a taste. Its like taco bell u know u gonna get the runs but crave it. Phenomenal service by the waitress, didn’t get her name but my wife, son, and I loved her service. Animated atmosphere

I really wanted to like this place and support a small business, but our experience was very disappointing. From the start, our server showed no hospitality he didn’t greet us or make us feel welcome, just bluntly asked what we wanted. When the food came out, it was cold and lacked flavor, which was very underwhelming given the expectations.
On top of that, the prices charged did not match the menu, as we were upcharged without any explanation. For parties of six or more, they automatically add a gratuity, yet the server still hovered over us while we were paying, clearly watching to see what kind of tip we would leave. That felt extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable.
I’m all for supporting local restaurants, but the way this place is run makes it hard to recommend. Between the poor service, subpar food, hidden charges, and overall lack of professionalism, I wouldn’t suggest dining here.

Giving this place 3 stars out of 5. Tacos were good, but this “papa max” was not it. It was almost $12-$13. The papa was hard and doesn’t even look like they want you to enjoy it. The papa max used to be really good years ago. Don’t know what happened.

I have come here for the last 10 plus years. Recently the food has change. But today was the worse I took my family to eat here like always I rushed thru my tacos. But my son pointed out that he didn’t felt good about the meet and he was right it felt too dry and even had a different smell, I pointed out to my server and the manager they note that it has been brought up to corporate. My whole family includiny self are feeling unwell our stomachs are hurting and I even got the runs. Im dissapointed. This were the best tacos in the whole State of Texas to my opinion. I can’t say that I will come back here again. I do however hope they take quick actions to fix this. They only told me that they had change the meet provider.. I will not go or recommend anyone until this has been addressed.

Food was amazing for a great price. The family combos will feet everyone and you will probably have leftovers. The beans they provide before your main dish is great. The sauces they have are spicy(red hottest and green medium), I do enjoy spicy food so I put a lot on my tacos. You will have to wait a few minutes for your food to come out but it is totally worth the wait. Awesome customer service, i will be eating there again soon.

I use to enjoy coming here for my cravings. Lately they have gone down in terms of service. I waited at the drive thru for over 30 minutes, not in line but at the actually order station. No one ever took my order. I just sat there waiting as a line built up behind me. I left without placing an order and dissatisfied. This is not an isolated incident either. I have had a similar experience 3 times already. Will never try this location on University ever again. Waste of time spent waiting.
