Market-fresh fish dishes & sushi prepared in a cozy, trendy interior with outdoor picnic tables.

The calamari was a bit chewy. They added some fried sweet potatoes and another fried veggie in the mix which made it better. The shrimp tacos were very good but had a sweat thick sauce coating which i wasn’t fond of but that was my fault I should have ask more about it since it was the special. The price was a bit high for lunch. The prices are on the menu but not on the special’s board. Again I should have ask how much the special was. Server was great. He was on que and professional. I drank water and without tip lunch was $38.68. I’ll attach a pic so you can decide.

We had a large group on 9 for lunch after spending the morning at the farmers market. Our waitress was wonderful. (From LA, handled separate checks with ease and great friendly service!) The food was good, from gumbo to lobster rolls, butter and mayo based, tacos and salads, all thought the food was solid. They have a wonderful selection of seafood with multiple preparations. This is a good seafood restaurant and fairly priced.

Food was strictly Okay. Our panko fried fish on gnocchi was $37!!! And definitely overpriced atleast by $15
Service was terrible, our server got our food after 45 mins and claimed it was due to ‘system issues’ while everyone else that came after us got theirs.
We did not even get comped for the delay, it got so bad that we skipped the rest of our evening plans and went home.
The front desk dude was clueless when we asked for chopsticks and eventually found one pair even thought it was right in front of him.
Would not recommend.

Blu Fish House is a new discovery. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 5:15pm, I was offered a spot at the bar. There were about four couples dining. I guess all of the empty tables were on hold for later reservations. I wasn’t interested in eating at the bar, so I ordered the food to go. The server was nice, the food was good. The experience was weird.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SUPERHERO IN OVERALLS???? we did Saturday 2/28. At the host stand literally managing the weight of the restaurant on her shoulders, buried under the waitlist from your nightmares, carrying herself with poise and grace.
Food was excellent!!! My wife had the mahi with veg and mash. Great!!
I had fish and chips. Felt like I was in Birmingham (UK) at the chippy.
Lobster bisque was amazing. You HAVE to order the hush puppies.
Server (young man with a tatted forearm)was up to his chin in tables and couldn’t have appeared more collected and calm. Attention to detail and follow up made us feel like we were the only ones there, regardless of the line going out the door
This is a MUST TRY if you’re in NWA. The design if the restaurant makes you feel like you’re lakeside somewhere or maybe the coast. Truly an escape and a wonderful experience.

Really out of this world food. The tuna poke was my meal and it was phenomenal. I lived in Hawaii and this was as good as most bowls i had there and better than some. Everyone else said their meals were just as good. Drinks were also really good!
Like other people note, tables are a little jammed together and service can be a hair slow.

Our server was great and very sweet. I got the chef’s choice roll. Said I loved raw fish and he did not disappoint! It had so much fish in and on top.

Decided to try for the first time. Wanted to go to blu DTR but they were remodeling so we assumed this would be similar food. Had reservations at 6:30 and we got our table right away. Good start. Our server was friendly. Still positive. Kind of went downhill from there. Ordered garlic edamame while we looked at the menu. I can’t tell you how it was because we got the sea salt edamame delivered to us. Not a real big deal. Ordered 3 rolls and gluten free chicken Alfredo. Also ordered a drink that we didn’t like but were never asked about why it was still full an hour later. The real question is why were we there for an hour when we only ordered rolls and pasta. Well…the menu stated gluten free pasta took 10 extra minutes. Again, no big deal. After about 10 minutes our server came out and said they don’t have gluten free pasta. Probably should have told us that much sooner. Why is it on the menu then? Just after telling us this our three rolls were delivered. Our daughter decides to get a California roll since there’s no pasta. I would think after realizing the screw up that someone would push that roll to the front of the line to try and get it out as soon as possible. Wrong. The 3 of us eat and we probably wait another 15 minutes before the California roll came out. The soy sauce we asked for finally came out after the food was all gone. Our waters were finally refilled for the first time after our food was gone. I know our server was busy but things should have been handled better especially when the bill came out to close to $100. If anyone thinks they may want to try sushi here I’d recommend skipping blu and going to sushi house. Better prices, better food, and better service. All in all this was a disappointing birthday dinner.

The place was absolutely packed with customers when we visited so we enjoyed a seat at the bar where we were well taken care of. I ordered the paella, the best I’ve ever had in Arkansas and properly prepared with shrimp, lobster, plump scallops and mussels. My wife had the snow crab legs, the biggest and freshest she’s tried at an Arkansas restaurant. There’s a fish market next door too so you can take some fresh seafood home to eat. Highly recommend.

Oh my God the Aoi nachos were to die for. There so so many delicious heaps of raw tuna and I was devastated when it was gone. I’ll be dreaming about that appetizer.
However we were pretty cramped eating on top of each other in the bar area. It was unpleasant being that close to others while I scarfed down every morsel of food helplessly.
We’ll definitely be back but will probably try to sit in another area of the restaurant. Also we didn’t get a server for 15 minutes after being seated and had to go ask for help (they were apologetic).
My husband had oysters on the half shell which were kind of small but he said were lovely. His main was a beautiful roll of sushi but I don’t remember which one. I had the special- panko crusted walleye with broccoli and mashed potatoes which followed really nicely after the cool, refreshing and zesty appetizer.
