From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and taken care of. The team here is consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. They do an excellent job of checking on you without being intrusive, which creates the ideal environment for discussing business while still enjoying the atmosphere.
The food and drinks are always fresh, well-prepared, and delivered quickly. Whether it’s appetizers, entrées, or just coffee and drinks for a quick meeting, everything has been consistently great. It’s not easy to find a spot that balances quality food with a fun environment, but this location pulls it off perfectly.
One of the reasons I like bringing clients here is the energy. It’s casual but still polished enough for productive conversations. And when the meeting wraps up, you can walk right over to the arcade side to unwind, laugh, and break the ice even more. It’s a fantastic way to build rapport with new clients or partners.
There’s plenty of parking, the place is always clean, and the staff keeps everything running smoothly—even during busy times. I’ve been to a lot of places for business meetups around Corpus Christi, and Dave & Buster’s has quickly become my go-to spot.
If you want a place where you can talk business, enjoy great food, and entertain your guests all in one stop, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend!
Where the experience dipped for us was in the service organization model. Orders are taken by the waitress, but drinks and food are delivered by runners who essentially “auction” items off (“Who had the lemonade? I have two!”). This system, while likely efficient for staff, felt impersonal and lost an element of classic table service. The biggest service lapse, however, was the soda refills—they were non-existent, and we constantly had to wave someone down to get attention once the runners left the table.
We opted for the “Eat & Play” combo, paying $59.99 per person for an entrée and a 90-minute unlimited play card. The fine print here is where the fun ended. What they don’t explicitly tell you upfront is that the 90 minutes start the moment you swipe your very first game. Furthermore, there’s a mandatory 20-second wait required between each game swipe, severely limiting actual playtime within that window. They also place limits on how many tickets you can win and restrict which specific games count toward the unlimited play.
Ultimately, the staff provided excellent hospitality, but the operational bottlenecks in service delivery and the confusing, restrictive terms of the unlimited game cards made the overall experience feel less valuable than advertised. It’s frustrating when the rules of engagement aren’t clear until you’ve already committed your money.
First off, the service was a bit terrible. The guy was alright but took forever to come back and check up on us. We waited 15 close to 20 mins for a refill on both drinks. The drink also tasted like a cleaning substance. Second, the wait time was awful. Plus, it wasn’t even that packed in there. I completely understand if there was a bit of a wait due to the amount of people but there wasn’t. Third, the prices. My boyfriend ordered one of those big combo meals which happened to be $30 and the food was tiny. That does not justify the price. My food was somewhat cold too.
Fourth, the overall experience was just dreadful.
I usually write good reviews and was so happy to come here in the beginning but within 30 mins, I was immediately dissappointed. I don’t think I would even want to come back here ever again tbh. :/
