Phuc Yea

Social Profile:

Modern Vietnamese Restaurant located off of Biscayne Blvd in Miami, FL, curated by Chef Cesar Zapata and Ani Meinhold. Tongue in cheek, the word Phuc actually means blessings and prosperity. Not only is “Phuc” the best word in the UrbanDictionary, but it actually means something positive – Phuc Yea! In 2011, Phuc Yea opened in downtown Miami as the city’s first pop-up concept. Fueled by old school hip hop and graffiti, Zapata and Meinhold dish up Vietnamese eats deeply inspired by family recipes fused with their personal experiences and cooking styles. The food is distinctly ‘theirs’, vibrant, bold and layered. Leave your expectations at the door. Phuc Yea is 100% conceptual. Not your typical noodle & pho shop. Come with an open mind.

Restaurant for pho and other Vietnamese staples in a sultry, industrial setting with indoor and outdoor seating.

We had made reservations for an anniversary dinner and were pleasantly surprised and welcomed by the exceptional hospitality extended by the entire staff. Carolina, our primary server, was truly delightful. She expertly addressed all our inquiries and provided outstanding recommendations for our meal. We highly recommend the Octopus and Watermelon salad. The cocktails feature creative names and even more impressive flavor profiles. This establishment truly lives up to its Michelin recognition for excellent cuisine and ambiance.

Hip Vietnamese fusion restaurant with a provocative name and eclectic decor. Very attentive service. Our menu favorites include the very flavorful Branzino, accompanied by the Millionaire Rice, both apparently enhanced with truffle oil. Special call out to the excellent bartender. Our drinks came with a small but tasty amuse bouche. Be aware that there isn’t much to do in the area, despite all the online hype about MiMo being an up-and-coming neighborhood.

My mom and I had a lovely dinner experience here! We loved the octopus, millionaire rice, branzino, and seasonal mushrooms! The decor is very eclectic, be sure to spend some time checking out all the items around the restaurant. It’s a fun vibe! The service was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner and Carolina was an excellent server and gave great recommendations!

Great experience. As someone with gluten sensitivity it was wonderful to know they were familiar and able to guide us through the safe parts of the menu. Actually we could eat probably 80% of the menu! Food was incredible. Drinks were fun. Vibe was on point. Great experience overall!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Vietnamese Gem in Miami – Phuc Yea

If you’re in Miami and craving a vibrant, flavour-packed dining experience, Phuc Yea is an absolute must. This place truly has it all—authentic Vietnamese flavours with a modern fusion twist, top-tier cocktails, and an ambience that perfectly blends culture, energy, and style. It’s no surprise they’ve earned multiple Michelin recognitions.

The bar team is exceptional. David and Christopher are absolute stars—welcoming, talented, and passionate about their craft. Their drinks are some of the best in Miami, hands down. And up front, the hostess ( I forgot the name but I think it is Catherine or Jordan)is incredible—warm, organised, and full of that signature Miami charm that sets the tone the moment you walk in.

Every dish bursts with flavour, authenticity, and creativity. Whether you’re going for a full dinner or simply enjoying drinks and small bites, Phuc Yea delivers a consistently outstanding experience.

Amazing food, brilliant drinks, and a team that makes you feel genuinely taken care of—this is easily one of Miami’s standout dining spots. Highly recommended.

Amazing atmosphere, with beautiful art and interior design, and salsa music playing, truly evoking the Vietnamese-Latin fusion. Lucia, the server, was very nice and helpful, she advised us very well on what to order. Everything was delicious: the green papaya, the sancocho pho and the croissant bread pudding. We will definitely come back.

This was my first time dining at Phuc Yea and WOW — from the moment we walked in, we were greeted and taken care of so well. The hostess was incredibly informative and welcoming. As soon as we sat down, she let us know it was happy hour, which was a great start.

Our server, Carolina, was amazing. She explained the concept of the restaurant right away and offered some spot-on recommendations. We ordered the spring rolls, the cheese noodles, and the short rib with the bao buns… and everything was absolutely PHENOMENAL. 10/10 on flavor, presentation, and service.

The vibe of the restaurant is intimate, low dim lighting, perfect for date nights but also great for groups. Carolina even treated us to lychee shots — delicious and such a thoughtful touch.

We had a lovely dinner and will definitely be back. Excited for our next visit!

Our server, Carolina, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel welcomed from start to finish.

Great atmosphere, amazing food, and outstanding service. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back—ask for Carolina if you can!
