First time visit, after seeing this place on the Too Good To Go app. I love discovering new places this way. Came in on a Saturday lunch time, no wait. Greeted by chef owner, who kindly aided me with verifying the meal choices I got on the app. Rich smoked meat aromas filled the air, making me excited for the surprise to come. Sounds of chopping also stoking the appetite.
Got a one meat, 2 sides combo. Presented with a HUGE smoked turkey leg, and collard greens, and Mac and cheese. The takeout container would not even close, it was heavy! Flavor was amazing: deep and smoky and the meat was easy to pull off the bone, which I needed to do to get the container to close. All the tendons normally you’d fight with, were cooked through and now crisped such that you can pluck them right out of the meat. Collard greens very tender, and Mac and cheese gave me the carbs to balance the meat mountain I had been given. This will feed 2 or 3 people on its own- I took rest of mine to go for dinner. Only one tiny note – l had not enough BBQ sauce. I should have asked for more. I got too distracted by the meat sweats, haha.
My friend got a BBQ chicken baked potato plate. Same level of overflowing goodness. The BBQ chicken was chopped, and on top a HUGE potato with Mac and cheese on it as well. A baked potato fan, he declared it the best BBQ baked potato had in years.
Great food, great portions. The menu isn’t gigantic so it focuses on Quality not Quantity.

Bought off too good to go app, it works like this is customers pay 1/3 of the price it retails so if their dessert combined is $15 we/I pay $5. The food may be old or broken but still edible. I received ONE cup of banana pudding I paid $5 for this meaning this retails $15. I looked online for their menu this retails $7. So this is not allowed :breaking rules. Should have gotten at least two of these. Same with two other plates (meat and 2 sides). Fries were good. BBQ was disgusting (watery sour and no flavor). Collard greens were inedible. Mac and cheese had no flavor, over done noodles, not good at all. So sad driving an hour away for this, very confused from the positive reviews for this place. Also no bathrooms. Dark Interior.

They serve Thanksgiving food on the too good to go app almost a month after Thanksgiving. I cannot believe they were stupid enough to not even make it fresh. It was literally so dry and stale and even had a slight foul smell coming from it. I barely ate any of it and now my stomach hurts. I should not have even tried it. I will file a personal injury lawsuit if this inhibits me from going to work tomorrow as it’s already inhibited me from being able to drive home and enjoy the football game tonight. This is blatant negligence and unfit for human consumption. I promise you that nobody at this store would eat what they just served me and probably multiple other customers as well.

Of course I came on a slow night, however the word was that Rosako’s was where I needed to go to get some good BBQ, so I took the trip. Loved the food and I’ll always support those who support our veterans. I plan on returning for some cobbler and it was suggested that I try the banana pudding.

I wanted chicken, but it wasn’t on the menu, so they told me I could order the One Meat/Two Sides option and request chicken. I wanted collard greens, sweet potatoes, and one additional side, macaroni and cheese. They didn’t have collard greens, so I told them REPEATEDLY that I would take the cabbage.
Unfortunately, I didn’t check my order before I left, and I ended up with two orders of sweet potatoes (candied yams) instead of the cabbage. I did have a cabbage in the fridge that I’m now cooking, which is what I was trying to avoid.
I haven’t tried the other food to know how it tastes…because I’m cooking the cabbage I wanted.

We’re greeted and boy did it smell good. I’m not a fan of BBQ sauce but this place was worth the drive. Definitely coming back.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I like to be honest about my experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing from start to finish.
When I walked in, no one acknowledged me. I waited for quite a while before a girl finally came up and asked what I needed. The customer service felt nonexistent.
The food quality was horrible, it was cold and tasted old. I ended up throwing most of it away. It definitely wasn’t worth the $6.99 I paid so I’m glad I got it through too good to go .
On top of that, the place wasn’t very clean and looked like it needed a lot of attention. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

When I arrived, I only saw one person at the counter, who I believe was the owner. As I walked in, two customers were leaving with their takeout orders. I’m not sure whether the restaurant was short-staffed, and I couldn’t see anyone working in the kitchen. There were several customers ahead of me, and the owner appeared to be both taking orders and making small talk. After waiting a few minutes, it seemed like it might take at least an hour to place my order and receive my food. I assume the food is good, but I’m unsure if I’ll be back in the area anytime soon.

Chicken barely had any BBQ sauce and was a bit bland. The chicken and mac and cheese was a bit cold. The cabbage is something I never liked before but not only was it the only thing seemingly fresh/warm it was surprisingly really good.
The staff here are very friendly, and the food is delicious. The BBQ chicken was cooked to perfection and retained its juiciness. The mac and cheese sauce was excellent, and the carrots were nicely sweetened. The potatoes were a pleasant surprise with their cinnamon sugar flavor—it was fantastic!

Ordered to go, arrived on time but one of our orders was “sold out.” (No notification on ordering app.) Substitution was made but with no refund to account for a much cheaper option accepted. Additional 20 minute wait to fill order. Food was delicious and we’re really trying to support local despite high pricing, but he needs some help!
