I have been coming to this location for years & have ordered a variety of things off their menu. Service has always been pretty quick & food is hot & fresh. The crab rangoons are the best I’ve had. I highly recommend their fried rice dish with chicken as well as the sesame chicken. Always happy with what I receive & will definitely be making more trips in the future.

Ate here after a movie nearby. The appetizers were so so. The main dishes were very bad. Tasteless fried rice. Our stir fry dish was awful and tasted like Chinese food out of a can. The meat was of low quality. We were never asked how our food was, and our drinks were never refilled.

I was not warned my sashimi delivery would be served on melon, which I can not eat. The restaurant normally does better about disclosures but this was $8 right into the trash. AND the gyoza was missing sauce. Supremely disappointed in a previously better restaurant.

Great atmosphere but the taste was not up to the expectations. We ordered Summer rolls, which were tasty and Panang Curry, this was not upto the mark and tired bento box first time, quantity is huge and taste was good too. Had California Sushi, taste was top notch. This restaurant is better for Sushi’s.

Mimosa is a hidden gem of a restaurant nestles in an area littered with lousy, fried food options and poor quality food establishments.

Mimosa has a wonderfully contemporary atmosphere and excellent staff.

There are many food options. They have a wide variety of good choices.

The wife and I ordered a few sushi rolls and the pineapple fried rice.
The rolls were delicious, and the pineapple fried rice was good, although a little bland. (We still ate it all)

Highly recommended.

The Mrs. And I went to Mimosa tonight for our date night. This restaurant is extra clean and has an great atmosphere. I had the shrimp tempura and oh my God roll (which they bring out to you on fire) she had the Boston roll and angel hair roll! Everything was excellent and the service was awesome! We are going to be making this a normal stop when we are in Springfield!! Highly recommend!!!!

I had one of the most disappointing and uncomfortable experiences at Mimosa on September 23rd, 2025. My friend and I, both African American adults in our late 20s (ages 27 and 28), came to enjoy dinner as we usually do. The supervisor Angie welcomed us and assured us we could dine past closing. Unfortunately, our server Vivian treated us unfairly and with clear bias.

At 8:50 p.m., while we were still eating, Vivian placed the bill on our table. After we paid, she told us to “get out” even though it wasn’t yet 9:00 p.m., directly contradicting what Angie had told us. She continued to insist we leave, making us feel rushed and singled out. On top of that, Vivian even attempted to throw away my untouched $5 soup without asking.

What made this worse is that the treatment did not feel like ordinary rudeness — it felt discriminatory. As two African American, high-paying professionals who simply wanted to finish our meal, we were spoken to harshly and pushed out, while other guests were not treated the same way.

I’ve enjoyed Mimosa in the past, but this encounter left us feeling disrespected and discriminated against. I strongly urge management to address this behavior to ensure all paying customers are treated with dignity and fairness.

Stopped by at 3PM, placed and paid for a large order for a NYE party for pick-up at 6PM, came back at 6PM via drive thru window, waited for the person at the window to look for our order 3 times and she finally said our order had been forgotten. Went inside and apparently they found our order but the person who clamed she was the manager walked around the waiting area with our order refusing to acknowledge it was our order even when we tried to tell her our phone number was listed on the receipt, she was very rude and said, “it’s not your order!”. When no one else acknowledge it was theirs she reluctantly checked again and admitted it was ours. Who mess took 25 minutes to resolve.
