Typical Mexican food, including tacos & burritos, plus all-day breakfast, served in a casual eatery.

My family has gone here for years and we always get the smothered burrito with cheese. Most recently I went with my wife and it was her first time. She got the shredded beef tostada. The tostada wasn’t fresh and they are skimpy with the beef. The service was great this time but it’s hit or miss. To be honest, the only thing you should get here is the smothered burrito with cheese and have the chips and salsa because they are very good.

We come here often and have always had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and kind, and the good always hits the spot.
Our go to is the smothered Chile Verde Burrito with rice and beans. It’s so good and fills me up. Tons of flavor.
We ask for their spicy salsa for the chips and salsa and it’s even better than the one they bring out.
They are always super great with our kids too. They provide coloring mats and crayons and make sure the kids are taken care of, which is always appreciated.
Great service, great food, we highly recommend!

Chicken strip in kids meal was completely RAW. The manager didn’t even seem too phased and tried to get us to still pay for part of the meal. So disgusting don’t ever go here. Manager said “he will tell the cooks to take a better look at that next time”

This is a great little Mexican food Restaurant. Everything tasted great, the service was good and the atmosphere was good. My only caution is watch your bill. We were a party of eight, with each of the couples paying for themselves. They over charged us for every meal, by .50 cents from menu prices, and they included 20% gratuity on the bill for each couple. No mention of it, not a big deal, just enough to leave a bad taste. Glad someone at the table pointed it out. We paid the bill and left.

This is going to be a long one but much needed. I will start by saying the service was top tier, absolutely amazing. The restaurant itself was clean and functional. Bathroom also clean (important to me). Now… The food. We started off great with fresh chips and salsa that was really good, definitely above average. We had the Horchata and a margarita the Horchata definitely wasn’t as flavorful as many places have but the margarita was really good especially with the Tajin on the rim. That’s were anything good or even edible ended.. we had a little of everything, hard shell tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostada, rice and beans. Absolutely all of it was garbage. The sauce was absolutely horrible, the cheese was so low quality and just every aspect of the food was so below average. I had one bite of each thing and couldn’t eat anymore and my husband ate maybe 1/3 of his meal. We didn’t complain because there was likely no was to fix it because there wasn’t much else available that didn’t share the same ingredients that we thought were awful (meat, sauce and cheese was all awful the tortillas were the only decent thing). This review is hard to make because the service really was impeccable!! If you need a nice, clean place to chat and just want chips salsa and margaritas this is the spot, but don’t come expecting a even half decent dinner.

These guys don’t mess around. They drag you with chips and salsa already ready, they service you very quickly and get the food out quickly. They bring you the check when you’re done. Fastest experience ever. Also didn’t feel pressure to leave early. The tortilla in the enchilada was really thick which wasn’t horrible. But everything tasted great. Would recommend.

Food was good! Definitely a very ‘Americanized’ Mexican restaurant. The service was not too great, we had to go out of our way to get the waitress.
The chips and salsa seemed to be the star of the show! The salsa was a little spicy and chips had some seasoning on them!
Also – we asked for sour cream and they gave us pre-packaged daisy sour cream – which, in my opinion is a tell-tale sign of a mediocre restaurant.
The food was good, but not great. I’d go back if I was invited by a friend, but I probably wouldn’t go on my own free will.

My family and I have been here before and the food was ok. We decided to go there again today. The food was ok, nothing to bring us back, the bill for 4 of us was $65 the food was no where near that price. It is frustrating that these restaurants just due to a situation think that we are not smart enough to realize that food does not cost that much to get delivered especially Mexican food which is basically fairly inexpensive to make and the products are fairly inexpensive to purchase you’ll see in the photos that I sent we’re very simple breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros (the huevos rancheros was not good at all) a cheese enchilada and a corn dog. The price for that meal was extremely overpriced. Won’t be back anytime soon.

I got the super nachos and a mango margarita. Both were delicious! The nachos were piled high with toppings and I ended up talking half of them home. The chips and salsa waiting at the table were awesome, too.

Frankly, I was really disappointed in La Fountain the last time we went there. We took some visiting friends from Atlanta and they were rolling their eyes. The food was good – but the service and attitudes were pretty negative. I took a coupon I had clipped, and asked waitress if we could apply the discount to both couples when we paid. She said “of course you can” – so we didn’t think anything else about it. When we went to pay, the cashier refused to allow the second couple the discount. I understand, but he was really rude about it. I’m staying away for a while… I get better food, larger servings and no BS when I pay at the LaFountain’s in Salt Lake City. They are actually happy we’re there. I’ll drive a few minutes extra for the better experience.
