We were greeted when we arrived by a friendly face. This was our first visit. We both ordered The Great Greek Rice bowl and added chicken. I highly recommend! The portion size was generous. Katie was our server, she was very pleasant. I wish I lived closer, I’d be a regular!

They didn’t have a menu I could take a picture of, so sad day.

The dining room reminds me of a chipotle, but with whites and blues as the color scheme.

It’s the kind of fast casual place you order up front and they give you a number for your table. We waited maybe 15 mins for our food to come out after we ordered.

We both got the falafel combo, which is a drink, fries and a falafel for $16. This was a large portion of food, well worth the money! The fries had some texture to them, and the tzatziki sauce was great!

The staff were fine, kind, patient, but left you alone.

Great spot for lunch in Maple Grove. A bit loud, but my friend and I were still able to hold a conversation pretty easily.

The best Greek food I’ve ever had. What a beautifully comforting evening due to such exceptionally prepared food.

Wow. Thank you!

The gyros is authentic and fresh. The prices are a bit high, but you get a loaded gyros sandwich. It has lots of gyros, lettuce, and tzaiki sauce, but a bit light on the onion and tomato. The side patio wedges are cooked well, but lack salt/seasoning. Their fries are great, fluffy on the inside with a crispy exterior. The bread was also soft and fresh. The staff were pleasant. The atmosphere was clean, spacious, functional, and inviting.

I had the steak Gyro and my husband had steak kabobs. It was seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. We all loved the fries. I had feta fries. My toddler adored them. It’d been a long time since I’d had good Greek food. Thank you for having consistency. We absolutely will be back.

We visited this restaurant and tried two dishes. The Souvlaki Plate was delicious, especially the rice, which had an incredible flavor. However, the Great Greek Gyro wasn’t to my liking due to the sauce, as it had a very strong Greek yogurt taste. I understand that it’s part of the traditional recipe, but it wasn’t my personal preference. Overall, the food is good, but it will depend on individual tastes.

I visited The Great Greek in Maple Grove in July 2025. Overall, the experience was fine. I appreciated the use of metal utensils and real plates and salad bowls, which gave the meal a more sit-down feel and set it apart from the typical fast-food experience.

I ordered the falafel plate, and while everything was presented nicely, the food itself felt like an Americanized take on Greek cuisine. Both the falafel and hummus were somewhat bland, the pita was unremarkable, and the rice was just okay. The standout was the salad, which was fresh and well-prepared.

Compared to Naf Naf Grill, The Great Greek offers better presentation and ambiance. Still, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. It’s a reasonable choice if you’re in the area, but not a go-to spot for truly flavorful or authentic Mediterranean food.

This was my first visit, and I was disappointed by the minimal amount of Greek feta cheese, which is a key ingredient in this dish. Otherwise, a clean restaurant and good crispy fries

Spanakopita. Very flaky, good feta, flavor is very much concentrated in the middle with the spinach.

Very salty but good fries. The cheese congealed unfortunately but still good. Very garlic forward.

The falafel is pretty good, soft on the inside and not too dry. Pretty decent rice bowl overall. Light vinaigrette. The black olives can be a bit overpowering at times.

The gyro meat is a bit dry but flavorful. Plenty of meat in the wrap. Pita is very soft and light. Good tzatziki sauce.

Due to staffing at this time, there aren’t servers but you can eat inside
