Got the fish and chips. It was great. Tasteful, crispy, and well sized. Their fries were great and crispy too.
Service was fine.
7.2/10
We came with some friends after hearing good things about this place. Overall we had a really good time.
The beer menu is extensive and has an amazing variety. They have lots of taps as well. They have a full cocktail menu as well with some custom cocktails.
The menu is a good size, big enough to have some variety but not overwhelming. Everything we had was pretty good. The sweet potato fries we had were good and the sauce was really great. The Cuban I had was overly salty but was still good. The burger was also good.
Overall everything was great and the prices were super high so acceptable.
Highly recommended.
What made it truly unacceptable was how blatantly racist his behavior felt. The way he spoke, the looks he gave, the tone he used—it was clear certain people were not welcome here. It created an incredibly uncomfortable and tense environment, not just for customers but for the staff as well. The employees looked miserable, avoided eye contact, and seemed afraid to speak up, which says a lot about the kind of management they’re dealing with.
Instead of enjoying a night out, we spent the entire time feeling disrespected and unwelcome. A bar reflects its leadership, and this one reflects intolerance, hostility, and poor character. I will never return, and I strongly suggest others don’t support a place that allows this kind of behavior to run unchecked.
The Johnny P wasn’t just a menu item to me; it was THE reason I came to Too Ra Loo two to four times a month. It was perfection — unique, flavorful, and something I couldn’t find anywhere else. When my boyfriend and I came in recently, I was practically buzzing with excitement to have it again, only to find out it had been taken off the menu. “Devastated” doesn’t even begin to describe it.
I tried the A2 pizza instead, and while it was fine, it simply didn’t compare. Without the Johnny P, the magic that drew me here feels like it’s gone. I’ll always appreciate the staff and the warm vibe of the restaurant, but sadly, without the Johnny P pizza, I don’t really have a reason to come back as often anymore.
