Loretta’s Northwesterner in South Park, Seattle. Tender, moist, crunchy, and nicely seasoned. I ate about 1/3. Saving the rest for later.

Excellent tavern style burger and fries! Burger has a nice char broiled taste and the right amount of grease and melty cheese with onions and pickles. Fries are hot and freshly cut. Love the pork tenderloin sandwich too!

This place has always been rough around the edges, but the service was a lot more attentive and friendly on a Friday for lunch.

As of Jan 2026, Double tavern is $11 and fries are $6 pre tax, sauces (ranch, secret sauce, tartar) will set you back 70 cents — still fairly priced considering post COVID shrinkflation

A pint of beer, double tavern, and fries will set you back about $32-$35 after tax and tip

Finally made it here.

Great burgers. Stuck with the basics for this trip but friend had the deluxe and said it was very good. Need to go back for that pork tenderloin sammy. Share the fries if you like because the orders are big and they are really tasty. However, fries do not come with meals. They must be purchased separately at additional cost.

No dogs allowed, even on the back porch.

Some parking on street but otherwise a lot in the back.

It’s a dive bar and though there is a TV it is not a sports watching pub.

EDIT: Returned for the pork tenderloin burger. It was very large and something different than the usual bar burger one normally expects.

Of note, though I called this and many others call this a dive bar (especially considering its locale and appearance), it is not dive bar prices. It was $35 for the tenderloin burger, an order of fries and a beer but it is a lot of food.

Loretta’s gave off classic local bar vibes with cozy decor, dark lighting, and an obvious local clientele. The burger I had was fantastic and fairly priced, and the beers ice cold. Awesome stop!

I finally had the chance to try this spot with a group of friends. Pro tip, there is a parking lot right behind the building. When we arrived, we grabbed a table outside since it was a nice day and we went inside to the bar to place our order.

I got to try several items including the double tavern, the deluxe burger, the fries, and the chili fries. I added bacon to my deluxe burger which ended up being a nice touch. I think the portion sizes and quality of the burgers were great for how much we ended up paying. The bread was soft, the beef had a nice cook to it, and the fries were crispy and had the right amount of salt.

Overall, this is a really good hangout spot to come with a group and order some drinks and food. I really like the laid back environment and there was plenty of space to hang out. Would recommend!

Everyone recommends this place and the food did look great! I ordered the burger salad and was a little sad to see the patty still pink but I was willing to look the other way until I saw blood. I ordered to go and didnt have time to check in with the staff and I’m hoping this review opens a door to talk about this. The fries are delicious though!

Loretta’s Northwesterner is a very cool local vibe Bar / Restaurant. Our group had Burgers, fish and chips and Irish Nachos. All delicious, really liked the fries. The service was excellent and friendly. Loretta’s also offers outdoor seating with heat lamps and a fireplace. We will be back!

If you’re in the mood for classic bar vibes done right, Loretta’s is a must-visit. This place really feels like a go-to spot for the locals. It’s got both indoor and outdoor seating, and on a perfect Seattle day, you can’t beat sitting outside with a cold beer in hand.

The staff was super chill and helpful—this was my first time there, and they made the ordering process easy and seamless. I went for the tavern burger (single), fresh-cut fries, and a beer, and honestly, everything hit the spot. Simple, tasty, and exactly what I was hoping for.

From what I could tell, Loretta’s is one of those places that people can rely on for a solid meal and a good time. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Note- my rookie mistake was driving pass their parking lot in the back lol. Just a heads up for newcomers— they do have parking.

Home run! My buddy and I came here on recommendation to try their tavern burger and it delivered 100%. The bartender also recommended the sockeye salmon sandwich and wow was it delicious it’s so underrated – worth trying. We also hand the hand cut fries and chili fries! There was so much food and we ate most of it, just couldn’t eat all of the chili fries, so we boxed the rest to go.

Definitely get a tavern burger! Worth the drive to Southpark area.

I love this place. The tavern burger is fire. Fries are delicious and plentiful. Ordered the pork cutlet today. That’s a two person plate, noted. I think they have the best F&C in town although no one I encounter ever talks of it. I love the vibe, cozy booths, the staff are great and it’s all I could want it in a great local pub. It’s my happy place.

Simply the best burger I’ve had in Seattle. Tavern Burger is a great value, simple but excellent execution. Fries are equally good, crip edges with a soft tender inside.

Lemonade was okay.
