I feel like not enough people mention how good WASABI is amongst the many all-you-can-eat sushi places here.

Generally, I manage my expectations around AYCE sushi, because the rice & fish quality are bound to be subpar for the pricepoint. But Wasabi has a shockingly good value of $36 AYCE ($25 during lunch) with very high quality fish and seafood. Nothing we had was fishy, or overtly mushy. Their rice is pretty balanced, not over-vinegared like many places will do.

Their uni was creamy, rich, no fishy taste. Giant cuts of sashimi, good portions. They even had aburi nigiri, and raw sweet shrimp. Lots of things you wouldn’t usually see on an all you can eat menu!

Lots of other non-sushi options too. Udon, takoyaki, karaage, the works. Worth stopping by if you are having an unlimited food craving. (Though I might recommend avoiding too many spicy scallop handrolls! They’re pretty saucy.)

A clean and tasty AYCE sushi in Lakewood. The nigiris have a generous fish-to-rice ratio and were fresh and tasty. Thea gave great service.

The good:
-Gyoza
-ALL Nigiri (Tuna was incredible here, yellowtail was delicious, good salmon, unagi needs more sauce)
-Hand rolls!!!!!! (So nice to have at ayce)
-Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi
-Green tea with toasted rice
-Mochi

The ‘meh’:
-Hamachi Kama (dry and needed fresh lemon)
-House Salad (thick dressing)
-L.A. Galbi (way too sweet bbq sauce)

The bad:
-Dynamite (huge portion and chewy textures)
-Tako Yaki (filled with more sour cabbage than octopus)

Though there may have been changes over the last year or so, what remains consistent is the excellent, warm, thoughtful, and truly above-and-beyond customer service—especially from Dillan. Each and every time, he puts extra care and great pride into his work. I never have to wait, and he’s always a few steps ahead, anticipating needs before I even ask.

I’m a regular not because it’s close to home or simply convenient, but because Dillan genuinely wants me to have the best dining experience possible. That kind of care and intention makes all the difference.

Thank you, Dillan, and thank you to the entire staff at Asaki for the love, consistency, and craftsmanship you put into every dish. Blessings to all of you, and Happy New Year ❤️

Amazing, friendly service and great food. Service was quick, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and everything came out fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and they also offer an all-you-can-eat option for both lunch and dinner. Definitely worth every penny if you’re hungry.

This little hole in the wall. Sushi bar is so amazing. 10 out of 10. Recommend if you’re in the area stop by and try it. Especially during lunch because they have an amazing lunch special! $27 for all you can eat sushi. There’s nothing better!

I definitely recommend the seaweed salad and the spicy at edamame! For being a sushi place in Colorado. The fish is very fresh and I love it so much def some of the best sushi in Colorado.

My only complaint was the Uni (sea urchin) didn’t taste very fresh.

Everything else was amazing.

It is an amazing calm. Nice atmosphere. You get to see everybody working on your food while it’s being prepared. So you know it’s fresh and the service is amazing. Everybody is so kind.

Our excellent server Dylan kept the fish coming and the drinks full. An all you can eat sushi restaurant that doesn’t skimp on the size of the fish is a winner from the start. The quality is great and at least on our side of town the premium fish is usually excluded from the all you can eat but it’s available here (limited but still great). The icing on the cake is that most of the nigiri options are gluten free which is great for those of us with dietary limitations. I don’t know how this place avoided the decline in quality that a lot of the other local joints in CO have had in recent years but its solidified itself as our new go to for date night despite the long drive from Aurora.

Love the veggie rolls and other vegan options here. Everything is so fresh. Tried the seaweed salad, and it was very good. The drink options are great, too. Lots of tea options and a handful of them are caffeine-free. The coconut pistachio rooibos is delicious!

Wasabi was a delight! In particular the ceviche sushi was truly the star of what we ordered. The flavors were so delightful, light, and full of citrus flavors that worked so well together. Highly recommend!

Some of the sushi pieces like tuna, hamachi, salmon was okay. We tried the sweet shrimp and it tasted slimy, tacky, and sticky the more I chewed. I had to spit it out. Tried the uni and it was extremely bitter and somehow dry. I wanted to throw up by the end of my dining experience and my stomach did not feel good for a few days after. I would not recommend.
