The Angus burgers are legitimately very tasty: juicy, well-seasoned, grilled just right, with that satisfying char that makes you forgive every mediocre fast-food memory. Classic cheeseburger that hits every note.
Waffle fries are the real MVP—crispy edges, fluffy centers, perfect for stealing from your passenger (sorry, not sorry). They hold up way better than they have any right to.
Drive-thru only keeps things simple and fast; outdoor picnic tables let you eat like a civilized person who just happens to have sauce on their shirt.
Bottom line: Quick, delicious, no-frills perfection. Bozeman’s best burger run, any time that isn’t 4 a.m. Go get yours. Napkins strongly recommended.

Best Burger is my favorite.
Their menu is short and simple, offering simple sizes of burgers w/”the works”, or you can chose from a list of awesome extras.

Great food, hot & fresh. The fries were especially piping hot, my favorite. I’d be nice to have indoor seating, as hamburgers are quite messy over the lap in the car.

While the service is still decent the food has gone down hill. No longer do they serve FRESH cut fries but now bland yellow salty cardboard sticks for fries, all the while still the same price. The burgers are now premade Patties that are sodium saucers. It’s a shame, I would always look forward to their fresh cut fries and fry sauce. No longer a customer, it’s not worth the price.

So I read an article stating “Best Burger” in Bozeman MT. was rated as a top independent burger in the state. Had to try it at that point. Got a quarter lbs. loaded burger with american cheese and regular size fry. Burger was solid! Well cooked. Very good produce on it. A very good burger. Would eat again, but not going out of my way for it. HOWEVER…do not sleep on this joints fries! I am a fry guy and the fries here are top notch. Matter of fact I have been back twice for fries since my burger trial. They are fresh cut, hot, crispy, salty perfection. If you love fries like do you 100% need to go to Best Burger and get the largest size fry you can. Maybe a burger on the side.

I’ve heard so much about this place. My son had went here a few times 3-4 years ago and said the burgers were good and big. We’ve tried several times since and they were closed. Well we got the chance to go on 8/29/23 and they were open . I don’t know where all hype about this place comes from !! We looked at the menu on line before hand and when we got up to order prices were up by $1-2 . The burgers were basically a 5/1 pattie. The 1/2 pound burger with 2 patties came with one, order the works for toppings and only got major ketchup, mustard, 2 pickles and a mound of shredded lettuce in bottom of box which the burger was placed on, had to add it on burger myself . The sweet potato fries were a mere handfulfull laden with salt for $5.25 the regular fries were loaded with salt as well, over cooked and soggy. Asked for an order of waffle fries, never even put in order. The cheese was extra, ranch and ketchup were extra wanted this place to be good but was basically low grade McDonald’s food with fancy price !! A 2 maybe 3 bites burger Don’t know if it was a bad day, lack of workers or right at closing time?? A Business should treat their last customers like their first so their not their last !!!! Perhaps in the future and better management I may stop again, until then I’ll stick with 5 Guys Burgers !!

We were recommended to try Best Burger by a friend in NYC who calls this the best burger in Montana. I wouldn’t quite say the “best” but I would say really really good.
A simple drive-through only spot that sells burgers, fries and shakes, and a good number of veggies burger options, GF buns and also chicken nuggets.
Service is friendly and speedy, and incredibly honest! They forgot to pack one of our fries and came running after us to be sure we had what we paid for!
The burgers are tasty, well seasoned and not fussy. The waffle fries are a real hit and loved the chocolate malt shake was delicious.
Would definitely come back next time we are in MT.
