By far my favorite place to get mexican food. I can personally say I’ve had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Everything is amazing from the chicken burrito, nachos, tacos de chorizo or any of the platters. Parking isn’t the greatest here but I usually end up parking a block or two away and walk. Tlaxcali makes me feel like I’m back home in Los Angeles. Authentic and delicious. I usually drive 45 minutes to an hour with traffic but thats ok.

Sooo good, such an impressive burrito. Best Mexican place in NYC. If I lived closer I’d be a regular.

If you want a more Authentic Mexican restaurant feel without the “Grass Wall” feel then this is the place.
Staff is friendly, food comes out piping hot, and drinks are limited but is more Mexican leaning authentic (ex: Hibiscus margarita with tajin on the rim)
They get A TON of mobile delivery orders so that says a lot on its own.
If you’re looking for the music playing atmosphere then this not it BUT if you want a more simple relax just wanna eat and conversate over great food then this is for you

The service was spectacular. Everyone who worked here appeared to love their job. Our waitress smiled the entire time and seemed so eager and excited to help us order. I ordered the traditional steak quesadilla and Birria tacos. Delicious and filling! If you’re looking for affordable homemade filling food, this is your place!

I just ordered a pancita de res and it wasn’t what I was expecting. I have order from this restaurant and the food has been amazing. But the pancita de res was not it. It has too much oil the caldo is black the meat look really dark idk maybe it was what they had left from a day ago it didn’t look healthy to eat.

One of the best authentic Mexican spots in the Bronx close to me. I had been told about this location numerous times and finally was able to stop in for lunch. I ordered (2) Tacos and a Burrito & trust me when I tell you that I had to take the Burrito home for Dinner. The portions served w/the Tacos were very filling and tasted very fresh. I can’t wait to order more items from the menu and the staff were very attentive & nice.

Very good Mexican place in the middle of Little Bangladesh! The place is small and packed, menu has authentic Mexican dishes bursting with flavour . Guacamole is exceptional, al pastor meat is divine and the presentation is beautiful. The highlight for me was the agua fresca: cucumber limeade with mint ! What a glorious flavour combination .

The food here was fresh, nice portions, and delicious. The reason for the two stars is that it took FOREVER to get our food. There were other people that came after us to dine in and were served first. The waitress who was new, tried her best to tabulate the items on the check and couldn’t get the math right. Also, it was quite expensive for a Mexican restaurant. First and last time here.
