I had been going to Paco’s since I was a small child, I am near 40 now, and still love it.
I developed an allergy to meat about 6 years ago, so I had to avoid Paco’s this whole time. Recently, the allergy has vanished, and the first place I thought of was here.
After 6 years, I had it tonight, and holy crap was it still amazing! The workers are still great, the food is still great, I wouldn’t change a thing!

I’ve been going to Paco’s for 17 years. Over the last year there has been too many incidents that have not set well with me. From getting chimichangas not deep fried, orders not being right and especially the woman in her 40s (not the owners daughter) being extremely rude EVERY.SINGLE.TIME & we just get carry out! My final straw was getting a LONG HAIR inside my food. It’s my fault for giving them too many chances. Such a disappointment. I know this is a family owned business. They need to re evaluate who they have working for them & how they treat their customers. Absolutely disgusting! This place has definitely gone down hill. What a shame!

Pretty good food. Attentive service. American-Mexican, so not truly authentic (but it was good). I had the natchos which were really good and the friend had a breakfast dish.
Complaints:
Granted, it was freezing outside, but so was it inside. Everyone was layered up. That particular day as well, no mexican music was playing, just atypical radio stations SMH. Also the parking situation is not ideal.
Can’t beat it for the price though. 6/10 recommend.

Our go-to family owned Mexican restaurant for nearly 50 years. It’s in a residential area on Crocker and does come with limited parking. I live in the South with plenty of authentic mom and pop options, but this is my favorite and a must stop every time we visit Michigan.
Try the Paco’s original meat and bean burrito. Started out sharing one with my brother as a child and have graduated to gorging on two in the last several years.
It’s cash only, but the prices are very reasonable for the portion size, chips, and salsa. My two original burritos and chips pictured are only $10. Yum!

Pacos is the hidden gem of Mount Clemens. Real authentic Mexican food prepared the old way. Intimate setting, friendly staff and great food. Haven’t had a dish that wasn’t great !!!

I drive by all the time, and this time I stopped in for dinner. The service was excellent, everyone was so friendly. I had the chilies rellenos. It was not what I had expected as I am used to a chili pepper with some cheese inside, but this one was a pepper inside an omelet style egg with a red sauce and cheese…. Absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food.

It’s not what it used to be, just to give you an idea, so I ordered the fajita burritos for $18.75 combo chicken and steak, have you ever gone to Sam’s club and bought the pre-cooked and prepackaged fajita chicken and fajita steak meat? That’s exactly what they served me it was the same thing I make at home for a whole lot less than $18.75 a plate. The food at best was okay service was fantastic atmosphere was nice but I expected more for what I paid. If you do go the shredded chicken was good the beef was good and stick with the chimichanga or something safe.

I say this is a staple of Mount Clemens, even though it’s not right in the downtown. It is one of those small-businesses with a big personality, and big presence in its community down there off of Crocker. Several menu items are consistent hits with myself and the family, such as; the botanas, my dad will order the whole thing for himself, the burritos, enchilada dinners, the nachos. They’re all killer, and while customary: I have to comment that the complimentary chips and salsa are great too! The only con to this restaurant is since I’ve been going here with my family in the early 2000’s, all the way to now. They accept cash only, and they do have an ATM in there so it’s really no big deal but it’s important to know if you’ve never been there.

The food was good, didn’t wait too long. The staff were nice, the lady that took my order, excellent. However, please be AWARE. Cash only, seems crazy nowadays. I hope they add CC payments soon, it’s a burden to go to an atm or bank to get cash when everything is online.
