This location used to be pretty good. I guess it depends on who’s cooking, and who’s on the wait staff on any given day. I’ve had decent food, & then I’ve had eggs & sausage overcooked to death. I’ve seen small crowds & STILL had to wait 10+ minutes plus to get your order taken. Apparently poor service is becoming the norm. And that’s how I tip. Crappy service? NO tip. Good service, good tip. I don’t reward poor service. And would somebody PLEASE mop the floors, and clean the glass on the doors..?!

I know this is sort of like reviewing a McDonald’s, but we had such a fun experience eating at this iconic restaurant at this location! Our server, Queen, was warm, funny and took care of us well- even gave our party paper WH hats for our first visit. Really great breakfasts all around!

The food was terrible. I’ve never in my entire adult life had bad Waffle. House food, this food was terrible. How do you fix a Waffle with nothing inside? It was literally just a shell. I ask that my bacon be served limp.
I asked that my eggs be fried hard. They were over easy i guess, I had to send them back the grits taste like soap water. I left the food on the table. I will never go to that waffle house ever again.I don’t even want waffle house right now.It will be a while

Hair in my eggs and they were done incorrectly- I asked for scrambled hard no cheese and of course I got the opposite. Server was nice but they need to do a facial cleaning before cooking

Today, I decided to try the Waffle House located at 700 Glynn St. in Fayetteville, GA – this was my first visit at this particular location. Placing my order was seamless, and I received my order in a timely manner. Upon returning home, my son and I started to eat. Unfortunately, I was immediately met with an unusual crunching noise – I spit the food out and attempted calling at 10:30AM, but to no avail. After calling repeatedly, I decided to return to the store and ask for a refund – my total was $15.60. When I arrived, I was greeted by Yeya, and I asked if she could locate her manager. She immediately informed her manager, that a customer needed assistance.

Once the manager, WANDA arrived, I explained to her what occurred, showed her the image with egg shells in my food, provided my receipt and asked for a refund. WANDA hesitated for a moment, and said, “I don’t normally refund customers”. I said, I understood, however, after having egg shells in my food, thus being unable to eat my meal – a refund is more than warranted. She replied, “Well, mistakes happen, and it’s up to me to determine how I refund MY money.” She proceeds to the back, and returns approximately 7 minutes later.

Upon her return, she hands me $2, and said, “ I can only refund you for the eggs”. I looked at her astonished. She proceeds , “My District Manager said, if you had returned the food, I could have refunded you.” I said, “So, you wanted me to bring back chewed up food, with spit”? She said, “Yes”. I gave WANDA the $2 back, and left the store.

All in all, it’s unfortunate that companies continue to hire incompetent individuals, that lack customer service. WANDA provided me subpar customer service from the moment I informed her about my matter – she refused a refund, AND never asked if I wanted my meal replaced. She was accepting of having an unsatisfied customer, especially one that could have choked. She even stated she spoke to her superior, who had the same mindset.

Your customers deserve better, and my family deserved better – and it’s obvious that WANDA can’t provide her customers and this community with top-tier and compassionate customer service.

I honestly wish I had gone to the other Waffle House on W. Lanier because this one is unclean during a double pandemic & dishonest.

I didn’t ask for opened mayo, yet they put it in my bag.
I don’t know what’s worst…
The fact that they ignored my request for what I paid for or the fact that they put everybody in danger by taking my eggs from my hand, that i walked to my car with, even tasted & realized there was no cheese…
I went back in to get the cheese I ordered & paid for. When I gave my eggs to the lady, who gave them to the cook, the cook slapped them in the fryer with cheese… what happen to covid, monkey pox, food service laws??

I asked the young lady to tell the cook to please cook more eggs because I don’t like them scrambled hard, even if I had to pay again I would’ve but instead my view was blocked while he still took those same eggs & mixed them with the hot cheese in the cast iron fryer. How I know??
I’m a chef & a restaurant owner & i know eggs. I was just too tired to cook anything after a long morning.
So never again & for anybody else BEWARE of the morning shift or this building period!
This is unacceptable.
And yes i know he used the same eggs because I heard the other lady say when he finishes mixing in the cheese give them to her.
So the young lady I spoke to totally disregarded what was safe in a pandemic, what is LAW for food service, & my request, instead they gave me what they wanted me to have & charged my card.
