Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is a hit or miss with me-this location was a HIT!
The food was fast, hot and fresh! The mac&cheese fried was delicious! The sweet potatoes-great!
I had the chicken thighs and waffle… and it was only $8! Four chicken thighs and a waffle-cooked to order for that price is unheard of!!
My mom got the fried fish and she had so much, she had sandwiches for two days! She is a picky eater, and since she enjoyed her food and wants to come back, that’s a huge plus for me!
Before leaving Maryland, we had to go back so my brother could get some chicken to go!
When are you all expanding to Northern VA? Let me know when you do!

The girl who took my order was the only thing nice about my experience!
I ordered 1 pound of catfish nugget’s, I asked for my fries to be crispy too please.
The cook gave me undercooked catfish nuggets that were slimy and some old soggy French fries, then when i came back in and said something about the fries the cook had an attitude. I didn’t realize that my nuggets were slimy until after I left! I won’t be returning to this location, the other locations have better service, fresh grease that they cook your food in, plus they give you more catfish nuggets!

I had the late night hunger pains so I had to quite them. I went here and got a combo. It definitely hit the spot. Light on the seasoning with a good flavor on both the fish and chicken. The chicken was light and crispy. I will certainly be back next time I’m in town.

I’m not sure if they’re under new management or what, but the food was disgusting. I ordered the catfish and nugget combo. The catfish nuggets were undercooked. The vegetable oil they used to fry their food needed to be changed. It also tastes as if they used iodized salt instead of the other flavor salt. My stomach is jumpy. DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING!
