I can’t say that the food or margarita were great but the whole experience was pretty exotic.
I ordered a salad, Doug got the beet salad, the boyfriend got the sauteed mushrooms. Average food but great service and setting.
Definitely more expensive than I felt it was worth.
There is something magical about the atmosphere here. You are eating right on the sand, which gives you those perfect beach day vibes but elevates the experience with luxury food and beverages. The menu is a rare find—the dishes are “fancy” and sophisticated, yet they remain practical and surprisingly affordable for the quality you receive.
A few things that make it stand out:
• The Vibe: It is incredibly child-friendly, making it one of the few places where you can enjoy a high-end meal while the kids enjoy the sand.
• The Music: The live music is world-class. It creates an incredible energy, yet the volume is perfectly balanced so you can still hold a conversation or simply soak in that stunning ocean view.
• The Service: The staff are consistently lovely, but a special shout-out has to go to “The General.” He is always so good to us and makes us feel right at home. We actually just discovered he’s an incredible singer, too!
If you want a taste of barefoot luxury in Barbados, this is the spot. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit!
The menu is now extremely limited, with a very bizarre cocktail selection. From what we could see, the same menu appears to be served from the afternoon straight through to the evening.
There were five of us dining and, unfortunately, the food was extremely dry across the board. The “sweet potato” served with the pork was rock solid and incredibly dry – it also tasted nothing like sweet potato. My sister ordered the chicken, which was also very dry. It honestly felt as though the food may have been sitting out since lunch and simply reheated for the evening service.
We also ordered drinks and had to wait over 30 minutes to receive them. To their credit, the manager did come over to apologise and kindly offered some complimentary drinks and a percentage off the bill. While this gesture was appreciated, it unfortunately didn’t make up for what was a very poor dining experience overall.
Our reservation wasn’t until 8:30pm, which may have contributed to the quality of the food by that time, but regardless it was very disappointing. Sadly, based on this visit, we wouldn’t return.
