What happened next is what truly concerned me. It took about 15 minutes to get one burger, and during that time I watched the person preparing the food constantly on her phone — touching it, holding it to her face, talking into it — and then immediately handling the food, even with gloves on. Gloves don’t mean anything if you’re touching your phone and then the food. That’s exactly how people get sick.
Other team members were also on their phones, and one even scared another, causing a loud scream. The whole work environment felt unprofessional. When the burger was finally done, the bag was tossed onto the counter without a word.
I honestly wish I had recorded it, but I’m not the type to start filming immediately. Considering everything I saw, I didn’t feel safe eating the food. I ended up throwing the burger away because I didn’t want to risk it.
I would never want anyone else to go through this. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of care for hygiene, customer service, and basic standards — whether Carl’s Jr. standards or Colorado’s. This experience was enough for me to say: never again.
Yes, every time I go to this location you have to be pulled to the side and I wasn’t gonna complain because five years ago. I give a five star review to this location but now my response is finally changed and I’m not mad. I just think this location needs to be held accountable.
Well in the drive-through, I could literally see one of the ladies on the clock, just eating a shake.
This food should be fresh, especially if you’re taking that long and someone has to pull to the side for their food.
Anyway I think the staff needs to some more accountability and trained better if a car has to pull to the side that the food should at least be fresh Or warm to the touch and there shouldn’t be anyone eating I don’t care if they’re on the clock or not behind where there’s food being served for customers in the drive-through.
My experience wasn’t horrible and I do like this location. I just think the staff needs to be trained differently.
