Sperry’s may be one of — if not the — best meals I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was incredible. The steak was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

The French onion soup was absolutely delicious, rich, savory, and comforting. The sides were just as impressive, and dessert was the perfect ending to the meal.

The only small note was the bacon wasn’t as crispy as I prefer, but honestly, that didn’t take away from how outstanding everything else was.

The atmosphere is classic and upscale with a warm, old-school steakhouse charm that makes the whole experience feel special. I would definitely be back if/ when in Tennessee again!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 28th Anniversary here. Terren was our server and was absolutely phenomenal. His recommendations for the Prime Rib and the Ribeye were spot on. We had the lobster Mac n cheese and garlic potatoes as a side. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and well cooked. This is one of the few times my husband have been out in a while because we have a special needs son and finding a babysitter can be tricky. Terren made the day with his smile, personality and food suggestions. We also received an complimentary photo for anniversary. Highly recommend and ask for Terren.

My husband and I just finished dinner with you for our 10th anniversary and we had a wonderful experience! Vince took great of us and made the experience even better than expected. I had the filet and hubby had the ribeye. Both were great as well as the fresh salad bar. We loved the 1000 Island dressing! We anxiously awaited dessert which didn’t disappoint. Vince did the Bananas Foster with ease. I did think to get out the phone at this point and got a great action shot. Thank you for the picture to commemorate our special night! Can’t wait for the next time!!

We enjoyed NYE dinner here! It was truly excellent service, atmosphere and delicious/gourmet food. Make sure to try the steak sauce on your entree and eat a salad. I suggest the the hamburger or chopped steak, or one of the seafood dishes. Our waiter, Lawson, was great! We hope to come here again.

Werecently visited Sperry’s Restaurant in Franklin for lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday after a coworker recommended it—and I’m so glad we went! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. I mentioned to our waiter that it was my husband’s birthday, and he made a note right away.
The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter took the time to explain the menu and make great recommendations. When it was time for dessert, another waiter came over to take a picture, and just as the dessert arrived—with a candle—they surprised us with a printed photo in a card that said “Happy Birthday.” I thought that was such a thoughtful and special touch that really made my husband feel celebrated.
Thank you to Sperry’s for the wonderful attention to detail, the delicious food, and the outstanding service. It was a memorable experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

Very old school steak house with a sort of central German aesthetic. I’m surprised they don’t serve schnitzel!

My kettle one half brine/half vermouth martini with blue cheese olives was fantastic. Unfortunately, the bar did not have the ingredients to make an Aviation due to a lack of crème de violette but it’s also a very seldomly used ingredient so no points deduction for that! It’s a steak house not a cocktail bar!

Salad bar was basic but did the trick. It had all the necessities like peppers, carrots, onions, chickpeas, bacon, sunflower seeds and an assortment of dressings. Complimentary bread is the consistency of a Jimmy John’s loaf which is not a criticism! It gets the job done.

Multiple cocktails, an appetizer, two salad bars and a split entree cost us about $150 before tax and tip.

Overall, definitely worth it for a Franklin night out. It seems to be loud in all the dining areas until about 8 pm so if you prefer quiet I’d encourage a before 6 pm or after 8 pm dine time.

Definitely make a reservation! And get your steak blackened!

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and smooth jazz music. The prime rib was delicious and the portions very generous. We liked the salad bar and would recommend the champagne vinaigrette. If you like limoncello, try the Abigail Martini.

Had a wonderful dinner at Sperry’s Cool Springs. Even though our reservation didn’t show up when we arrived, the host team handled it with professionalism and seated us within about 10 minutes despite the restaurant being packed — great first impression.

The spicy margarita martini was easily one of the best I’ve had. We started with the fried clams, perfectly crunchy outside and tender inside. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. My husband’s lobster tail was cooked perfectly, and while my steak was a bit firm (likely because I ordered it well done), the overall meal was excellent.

Service was attentive without being intrusive, especially impressive on such a busy evening. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere and classic European charm that makes the experience feel special.

A great spot for a memorable dinner — we’ll definitely be back.

We celebrated my birthday dinner and the service and food were both exceptional! Our server, Carlo, was phenomenal and went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable dinner! He was knowledgeable about all the menu options and wine list. He was so personae and made us feel like “family.” We will request to have him as our server when we return! My husband had the scallops with cheese grits and they were in his words “ the best he has ever had.” I had the Prince William Filet with blue cheese and the steak was cooked to perfection. We shared the creamed spinach ( a MUST) and the garlic mashed potatoes. We shared a dessert (a light sponge cake with crème fraiche and a warm toffee syrup) Also very good! We always love dining at Sperry’s and tonight was no exception! But Carlo was the highlight of our evening!

We had a superb experience at Sperry’s for a birthday.

The salad bar is fun – I think it’s hard to differentiate a salad bar but they manage it with their various dressings and seemingly high quality ingredients. We both got a big plate and enjoyed our picks.

For our entrees one of us got the New York strip with an added lobster tail and the other got steak frites. The strip was cooked to our desired doneness but the other steak was very far off – they resolved this effectively though. Once resolved, both steaks were delicious – high quality pieces of meat that were very well seasoned.

The lobster tail was presented nicely and was perfectly buttered and seasoned – also easy to eat with the way it is served mostly detached from the shell.

The fries and mashed potatoes were both very good. Nice shoestring fries just like they should be as a part of steak frites, and the mashed potatoes were as smooth and buttery as you’d hope.

For the birthday they gave us a free dessert – we chose the sticky toffy pudding. It was awesome! We’ve had it before from Gordan Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen where it’s supposed to be his signature dessert, but it pales in comparison to Sperry’s version.

Service was great from start to finish with everyone who was involved. Since it was a birthday they even took our picture and printed out a picture for us.

We will definitely be back!
