This is my second time dining here, the first time was takeout and I ordered the gyro platter. This time I chose to dine in with my boyfriend, our order was taken by a nice man (not sure if he was the owner). I ordered the same thing haha. It was as good as the first time. I used to go to “It’s All Greek to Me” around the corner on Atlantic but their entrees didn’t satisfy me enough to go back.
The man that took our order was pleasant. He took my dirty plate when I was done eating. We talked for a minute. The service was good and welcoming. Will be telling more people about this place and coming back.

Wyrd Woman
Got the gyro platter to go. Gyro meat super tender, fries golden brown, lightly dressed salad and perfect tzatziki sauce. The tzatziki sauce is house made and super thick. Owners are so much fun. I want to adopt them as my new favorite Aunt and Uncle. I also got the flaming cheese for there…hint don’t order and sit outside when it is windy if you want the flame otherwise you will end up with drunken cheese, still wonderful (see video). Definitely will return.

Fantastic, delicious and authentic Greek cuisine! Home grown herbs and vegetables, and best gyros! Highly recommended! They have deserts and variety of beers. Atmosphere is cozy, inviting and playing classic Greek music

Really happy to have found this place! My family loved our gyros. Soft fresh bread piled high with the best lamb gyro meat I’ve had in a long time. You could definitely tell that everything was homemade and well seasoned. We were also surprised by how good the fries were and they were dusted with really yummy Greek herbs. The atmosphere was lovely and we enjoyed the mural across the walls. We got to speak with the owner who was very kind and made the experience fun for us with music. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in the area.

First off the food was delicious! Amazing Gyro, delicate juicy meat. Pita was over stuffed, just how we like it! I have to say though ownership is lacking in customer service. My order etc was fine. Couple came in behind me and they were clearly regulars. They were trying to use a coupon that was sent to them and they were denied because minimum charge of $60, $50, $45…no one was sure but they were told the couldn’t use it.
I heard them say they always order the same thing. Yo, if you’re trying to keep any sort of loyal customer base, don’t deny them a coupon that you sent them. Figure it out.

From the entrance, Cristina is welcoming and warm with her greeting. The food is good, had the vegetarian pota and it was great. The spicy buns was excellent. Definitely worth coming to this spot, found it by chance and I’m glad I did.

The food at The Gyro Joint was absolutely amazing, but the service was even better! As soon as we walked in, the owner came out personally to greet us and made us feel so welcome. Throughout our meal, she kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell she cares about her customers here. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!
