Social Profile:

When Bob Longhi opened Longhi’s at 888 Front Street in Lahaina, Maui in 1976 he created an establishment that had all the elements of his favorite restaurants – great food, service and ambiance. The quality, consistency and excellence that Bob Longhi strived for can be found at all of Longhis’ restaurants. Over forty years later, it is not surprising that Longhi’s is one of the most popular and acclaimed restaurants in Hawaii. With one location on Maui and one recent addition on the island of Oahu, the Longhi’s name is continuing its tradition of serving the islands this unique culinary experience.

We were completely blown away by both the food and the location—it’s absolutely gorgeous and made for a memorable dining experience. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, and the dessert truly stole the show—it was easily the highlight of the meal and something I’d come back just for.

That said, the service left a lot to be desired. It was a windy day, and the staff didn’t make any effort to accommodate the situation, which was disappointing given the otherwise wonderful experience. They seemed inattentive and could benefit from hiring team members who are more proactive and customer-focused.

Even with the service issues, the quality of the food makes this spot worth visiting. With a few improvements in staff training and attentiveness, this could easily be a five-star experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back for the food—and hopefully, the service will catch up to the incredible cuisine!

Longhi’s Ko Olina a beautiful restaurant located seaside at the Ko Olina resorts. Serving a mixture of local cuisine and traditional Italian cuisine. We had the sumptuous Lobster Eggs Benedict. A wonderfully delicious and rich tasting dish. Maine Lobster meat onto of a toasted baguette with perfectly poached eggs and a wonderful Hollandaise sauce. We also had the Rueben sandwich. Tasty corned beef topped with Sauerkraut served on house made swirled rye and Russian dressing. For appetizers we had the Artichoke steamed California Artichoke with Longhi’s signature Lemon Butter sauce and Parmigiano Reggiano. We also had the Calamari deep fried perfectly served with a Spicy Arrabiata sauce and a Lemon Garlic Aioli. Validated valet parking available.

My husband made us a reservation for Valentine’s Day. This was our first time dining at Longhi’s. Our server was super friendly and fun to talk to. We loved our meals off the special Valentines menu. My husband had the surf & turf and I enjoyed the King Salmon. Delicious meal and memorable evening! Mahalo! Would definitely visit Longhi’s again.

Our second visit to Longhi’s was as memorable as our first three years ago! Our server, Christine was extremely helpful with answering questions and making great recommendations for us! She has the perfect personality for this line of work and we highly recommend you request her! The food was delicious, served hot and in a timely manner. The selections are great! The desserts were all temping as Christine told us about each one! Our selection was fabulous! After dinner you get to see the gorgeous sunsets from this incredible island! Mahalo Christine and Longhi’s! We will definitely be back!!

I can only speak for BREAKFAST in this review. It’s super solid. Not everything is a home run but the MAC nut pancakes are awesome, as well as the French toast. Fresh served squeezed is also a must. Served was kinda awkward this last time but that’s ok.

Ambiance is pretty amazing. Fresh air, half inside/outside seating, Coi everywhere, and the view (see pic).

Our last nights stay at beautiful Marriott’s Ko Olina in Oahu we decided to have dinner at Longhi’s. Such a lovely restaurant with an outstanding view and great atmosphere with lots of menu options. Sitting underneath the beautiful moonlight of Hawaiian skies was a perfect experience with my husband. The beautiful Koi Fish pond surrounding the restaurant makes for a perfect spot. Our Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection! The meal was mouthwatering and the service provided by the restaurant staff was superb. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Hawaii Oahu Marriotts Ko Olina! Everything was perfect

Looking for a place to take kids in koolina, this was a great option. They had a good kids menu, and the price was very reasonable. We sat along the koi pond which was a beautiful ambiance. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, it’s amazing.

Well, pictures paint a thousand words. Just look at those plates. If you like overly watery and bland food that costs a lot, come to Longhi’s! This place would probably make a random mainlander happy though, because the sunset here looks great. Overall, food is lacking. The service is pretty good, though. Gotta spend at least $50 for discounted valet parking at the hotel, which is easy because everything costs wayy too much for what it is. Seriously, my pasta was so bland and watery that I had to take it home to season it and cook down the water in my frying pan. This was for my husband’s birthday, and I feel like I failed him a bit by reserving this place.

Since my wife and I were staying here we had dinner here and had the fresh fish. It was excellent, the Mai Tai’s were very good. The seating was inside but open air to the ocean view a couple of hundred meters away.
