The food was A1! As a NC native, it was so good to have a taste of home while I was on vacation. There’s several plate options depending on your budget. While waiting for my order to be ready, it was really nice to have the Food hall to walk through. Turkey options are scarce so it was great having this place as an available option!

Brisket was very tender and perfect flavor. Typically, I see the red rim below the bark, but this was fully done brown and the taste was great. The greens were great and the kale slaw was good. $32 I believe and I really had no complaints. Maybe it could’ve came with cornbread or Texas toast, but this was fine. Guy was cool at the register and putting my plate together. I’d come back here and recommend. The thin barbecue sauce is vinegar tasting and delicious if you like that kind of taste and thinness. It’s very thin though so you may not expect it as bbq sauce. They have another regular barbecue sauce option also.

Turkey BBQ! Who knew of this deliciousness and didn’t tell me?!

The aroma wafting outside drew me to this stall in Chattahoochee Food Works. Friendly staff welcomed us over & offered us samples. I left with turkey fries (perfectly seasoned pulled BBQ turkey on top of French fries) lightly dressed with various BBQ sauces AND a side of macaroni and cheese. And yes, I ate every bit of my food without feeling overstuffed or having that heavy feeling in my stomach had I consumed the same amount of beef and/or pork BBQ.

I went to the food hall for Thai food, came out with a new BBQ spot!

Friendly service. Unique menu featuring mostly Turkey BBQ (that was surprisingly tasty- though it’s not bbq pork) and brisket. See menu photo. Trendy & modern atmosphere- this is a food court style booth located in The WorksAtl. Collards had a good amount of heat and good flavor/ texture. Macaroni and cheese was way too peppery for me (not kid friendly) and creamy would be better to tone down the heat on the meat and collards. North Caroline style vinegar based sauce was good (also a little spicy) but I preferred their “sticky” sauce that was more traditional style thick sweet sauce. (Like Stubbs sticky sweet) This place was on the pricey side for me at $31 for a bbq platter with 2 sides not including a beverage. 5 of us ate here for $130 and 2 ppl were sharing entrees! Very few drink options, a few can soft drinks to choose from or bottled water (no cups or ice) served in the can tepid temperature. If you’re in Atlanta, serve Coke products. I also wised there was seating / tables nearby. Just a bar which isn’t great for group dining. Outside tables available but it was too chilly so we walked all the way out of the food court into the mall hallway to find a table which made it difficult to go back for simple things like sauce or napkins. The mall tables have an odd fixed lamp thing in the way- you can’t see or talk to the person in front of you.

Overall, the brisket was good (I prefer smoked and this is cooked on a griddle) but three slices for $31 is skimpy on value. I really want to like this place- mostly because the people seemed great and it has a good vibe. Not sure if I will be back though. Just need more value for price or some other reason that this place would stand out as exceptional.

Fish was well seasoned and not too salty. Usually I’m nervous to buy fried fish cuz it too salty. This was great. Mac n cheese and hush puppies were great. Great service and atmosphere. Clean and friendly.

Horrible fish and the yams all were like dark green. Fish was unbearable & the prepacked food really isn’t worth the $27 this plate costs. Mac & Cheese is poorly made and the yams taste like they are straight from the can.

I need yall to get the turkey sandwich combo on a toasted bun with fries! So so tender and flavorful. The sauce is also really good. I enjoyed this very much and I’m thinking about catering this for work one day!

This was hands down the worst catfish we have ever had. My husband and I are convinced it’s not even catfish. The texture wasn’t soft and flaky, instead, dry and hard while the skin attached was soggy and rubbery. Very weird…
We took one bite and threw the entire $26 plate away. The one star is for the greens. Again, we only took one bite of the greens (actually good) but was so disgusted from the fish, we were not willing to risk possibly getting sick.
Very disappointed.
