We moved to Hermitage about four months ago and have eaten at Salvo’s 5-6 times, mostly lunches-pizza by the slice and salads. Previous experiences were fine but, today we ordered a pizza for the first time and it was a bit disappointing. When we open the box, we were both scratching our heads about the lack of both sausage and cheese.
I had ordered half sausage and half vegetable the vegetable side looked delicious. We tried the sausage side first. Not only did it lack the best ingredients, it also lacked flavor. I have had delivery pizzas that were better. Pretty disappointing for a $35 pizza.

Salvo’s makes the best pizza in Hermitage and has incredible customer service. I love their Sicilian pizza, but don’t sleep on their pasta. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, with all the sounds and smells you want out of a quaint local pizzeria.

This has become my new spot!!!!! I have been coming the last few weeks and omg they never miss. I have tried a couple of things on the menu now, and it has hit the spot every single time. My favorites so far are the Cajun Alfredo, the Sicilian style pizza, the chicken parm sub, and the Philly Stromboli. And oh my goodness, you have GOT to try the zeppoli dessert because they are addictive. The service is always amazing and I really appreciate that they are starting to know who I am and they are going much further than taking my order and calling it a day, and instead they treat me almost like part of the fam, which they’ve done from day one. They are always quick and you can tell that they really care about the customers experience. I am so excited to keep going around the menu and seeing what other amazing foods they have. For a small business, they are truthfully doing it better than some of the big companies, and I am happy to pay the prices because you can taste the freshness and the quality of the food. So glad I found this place!

I really like this place primarily because they offer pizza by the slice. I had the vegetarian slice pizza and a small fountain drink. I was there on a weekday at around 3 pm. I asked them to please heat the slice as I was there well after the main lunch rush hour. My slice was served hot and it was good. The pizza slice was a generous size. The crust was more of a thin crust, had flavor and a little crunch not too doughy. I was in and out quickly and on my way. If you are looking for a quick slice of decent pizza, this place is definitely worth the stop.

Fits right in as your local pizza joint. There were a wide variety of specialty pizzas including build your own, some pastas and salads, there’s something there for even the most pessimistic pizza eater. The pizzas were great, definitely a step above your local delivery chain, but the ranch (which is how I judge a pizza restaurant) was not my favorite. The staff and service were great.
Wheelchair accessibility: there are a couple of accessible parking spots in the lot but if you go during the day they’ll probably be occupied by clients of the physical therapy business nextdoor. The aisles were pretty tight so definitely difficult to navigate from a wheelchair, the bathrooms were spacious with plenty of turning radius. The beverages are also self service so not easy to use for someone short statured or some wheelchair used

We were in town visiting and craving good pizza. We chose Salvos based on the reviews. We decided to dine in. A staff member gave us some menus and told us to help ourselves to glasses and the drink machine. We decided on fried ravioli and a 14″ meat lovers. Both were incredible! The crust was buttery and crispy but not too thin. The toppings were plentiful and delicious. I’m considering going back before I leave town and trying a pasta dish.
