Super Pan on Battery Park offers a nice variety of Latin pastries, sandwiches, and meals in a friendly, casual setting. However, the empanadas had a floury taste, and the Puerto Rican morcillas don’t quite match the flavor you’d expect from those made on the island, which was disappointing.

Overall: Good selection and atmosphere, but some traditional items could be improved to better reflect authentic flavors.

This was a good choice!
The inside has unique characteristics. There’s a few really good spots for photos! The host and the server were friendly. The portion sizes were good, and the food was fresh. I’d come here again.

The food is OK but not worth the high price. The chips and salsa are delicious but the amount of salsa they bring out is enough for one person so , I believe they want you to ask for more salsa and that’s an additional four dollars for a very small amount. The Mofongo Verde is good but adding tofu costs an additional eight dollars which is high for eight cubes of tofu and the piña colada normally delicious , today it was very sweet too sweet. Today I felt my meal was definitely not worth the amount I was charged.

El Super Pan is great Mexican restaurant here at The Battery. Great chips n’ salsa, beef bowl and cold drinks! Close to all the action El Super Pan is the perfect spot to hit before or after the game. ⚾️

We stopped here to grab a bite to eat before the Atlanta Braves baseball game. The food was pretty good and the service was great! We sat at the bar and had full food and drink service there. My wife and I had the bowls. I had the rice and beans with sofrito chicken, and my wife had the rice and beans with shrimp. We also had a side of maduros.

Visiting from Dallas, TX & dropped in Ponce City Market looking for something good to eat. El Super Pan Ponce did not disappoint!! Everything we tried was delicious, fresh & hot. Our server that greeted us was Amari, she was well versed in the menu & offered the most popular dishes. The margarita was phenomenal as well Mari!! Caiden made great recommendations for adding to the depth & deliciousness of the meal, I will definitely visit again.

Super pan is super! The tapas are delicious. We had really great service! Good drinks are really delicious. And apparently they have a little club environment on Thursdays so I will be checking that out the next time. I’m in Atlanta! Overall I had a great time when I went!

Myrna our server was excellent- very knowledgeable of menu offerings especially for dietary restrictions. Kaleen knows how to make a caipirinha that will transport you to Brazil. The flavors and love put in this Latin fusion cuisine sets this place apart from many restaurants on the area. Will be back for sure

The food wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t great. It for sure is NOT the place for authentic Puerto Rican food. People who have never had Puerto Rican food before may not know any better (and maybe that’s their intended market). I might have enjoyed the experience more had the service at least been good or redeeming, but unfortunately it was not. It wasn’t a lack of personnel and although they were busy, it wasn’t THAT busy. Most of the time the servers were behind the bar talking to each other, looking at their cell phones or flirting with who I can only assume was a manager of some sort as he was behind the bar also. I was given exactly one 6oz glass of water, and no one ever came to ask if we needed refills throughout our dinner. I didn’t even get a napkin. They served my food with just a spoon (I needed a fork) and when my date tried getting the servers attention, she was too busy looking down at her cell phone and walked on past us. The manger even noticed this and tried to get her attention, which didn’t work for him either, so he came to us himself to see what we needed. I had the mofongo (whatever the “real Puerto Rican version” was) with camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp). It was ok – I ate most of it, but it was hard to finish without having anything to wash it down with. We sat there for about 15 minutes after having finished our food before a server came around – at which point I just asked for the bill. AFTER she brought us the bill, she asked if I wanted a water (when I was already leaving..??). She noticed the half eaten plates and asked if we wanted any to-go boxes and when we said “no thank you”, she asked if everything was ok. Atvthat point, we just wanted to het out of there, so I just said everything was fine. I may have been able to get past the food if the service had been even average, but it was pretty bad. That atmosphere seemed chill enough, and it’s so hard to find Puerto Rican food so I really wanted to like this place, but it was a total miss.

We sat out under the covered patio and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was amazing and my drink was nice and refreshing. I loved the latin music and flare. I felt like I was in Puerto Rico. Great menu! I’ll be going back!
