Reviews
Papaya salad was quite good despite not being Thai spicy (you can ask for some chili and fish sauce to your like)
The angus beef was excellent and its dipping sauce as well.
My chicken green curry was a little watery but quite tasty.
All in all, tables are too close to one & another but the place is enjoyable
Happy to come back and taste different food again! Too bad it misses Thai spiciness tho!
The service could also be improved. When paying by card, the machine prompts for a tip of 10–20%. This feels unnecessary—we’re not in the USA. At the very least, it should clearly give the option to select “No tip.” in a SMALL corner.
The prices are quite expensive compared to other Thai restaurants in Paris.
The menu was straightforward, so we decided to share multiple dishes to sample as much as possible. We opted for a Thai beef salad, Vegetable Pad Thai noodles, Green beef curry, Yellow curry with shrimps, and a crying tiger marinated beef. Each dish exceeded our expectations, and I won’t delve into lengthy descriptions as I would rate them all above 8/10. However, if I had to pick two winners, they would be the Thai beef salad and the green curry.
This place has officially become my go-to spot for Thai cuisine.
Had wanted to try this place for a while as often looks busy when we walk past. The food was really excellent, one of the best pad Thai I’ve had outside of Thailand, and the staff were all super friendly.
However, we went Saturday lunch time so it was fairly busy, and this meant our drinks took ages to come (it turns out the order wasn’t put through), we had to ask 3 times for water, a broken glass bottle wasn’t cleaned up right away (so there were people stepping over broken glass to get in/out and I was worried about all the little dogs walking past haha!). Being fussy, the beer needed to be a fair bit colder or served in a frosty glass.
That being said, all in all it’s a great location with lots of outside seating, serving top notch Thai food and just a few too many little niggles to be a 5 star experience in my book this time.
Food:
Papaya salad which was delicious. I can fully recommend the beef with steamed rice, very tasty! The green curry with chicken was mediocre imo, nothing special but still good.
Rest:
What I love is their logo and that it’s also found on their plates, shirts, mirror.. it’s done beautifully, not too much.
We tried to go their spontaneous before and it was fully booked so I’d advise you to book a table if you plan to go in the evening.
I am not sure what is wrong with their reservation system, but in our experience it simply does not work. To make matters worse, the response from the staff has never been particularly empathetic or client-oriented.
I hope you are luckier than we were and manage to get a table, and that you enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, we were not, and we are tired of trying.
I will come back.
NB:
They don’t have baby chair unfortunately.
