I’ve been eating at El Buen Gusto for over 20 years, and every time it’s been a delicious experience. Today I had the beef stew with rice, beans, salad, two handmade tortillas, and a Salvadoran horchata. Everything was flavorful and satisfying.
Our server, Omar, was excellent—he took my order correctly, checked in on me, and made sure I had everything I needed.
I highly recommend this place for a great meal and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

El buen gusto serves good authentic Salvadorian food. The food was very delicious and true to the name. The service was fair and quick. They were able to accommodate A large group without a fuss. The price of the food was very reasonable. We had a very good time at this restaurant enjoying food that actually tasted authentic. Overall a good experience I will definitely come back and tell my friends.

Prices to high for popular food compared to other low class stablisment. Tables and seat are not fancy conclusion: too price for regular regional food maza, beans and rice. Drinks are expensive 4,50 to 6 for horchata or Jamaica water and sugar.
A mediocre fast joint not a Restaurant.

This place has amazing food, if the rating was based on flavor it would definitely get 5 stars. The wait there is a bit long, and service is hit or miss. It might come down to them being short staffed ALL the times I have been there, but the food, the portions and prices are what bump that 4 star to like a 4.5 star rating.

Office luncheon for 50 people, picked up food and brought to office. Pupusas were fresh, tasty, and appreciated by everyone. The rice and curtido were also very tasty. The manager was incredibly helpful for the ordering and pick up process. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the wonderful service and quality of food.
