That said, I’m really bummed the tots were discontinued—it just isn’t the same without them. Please bring the tots back and you’ll make me (and a lot of other regulars) very happy. #bringbackthattots
I’ve been here a few times with friends and coworkers. I ordered their fish and chips, which was pretty good, but this sandwich was much better than I had expected or anticipated. The au jus sauce was a little salty—but that’s normally how I like it—and it was much more flavorful than others I’ve tasted.
I like to come here, play darts, and grab a drink. Sometimes it’s really packed, but if you come earlier on, it’s not too bad.
Churchill’s is one part dive bar, one part traditional British pub, and one part world-class beer bar. The food is excellent, the beer selection is incredible, and the ambience is truly welcoming and cozy.
Although it may be months or years before I’m able to stop in again, I will absolutely look forward to when I do.
Straight from 45mph road into narrow parking lot with 80% of a single lane in it adjacent to the road.
Im sure the food and drink is probably good if you get one of the 9 parking spots
We picked our table, which were at social distancing measures.
There was a nice amount of people there & the staff seemed busy.
Drinks came quickly, but the food… not so much. And with no update of when it was coming, I thought we were going to starve.
Before my imminent death, my 6 cajun wings & side salad came. Everything was delicious & the ginger ale pushed the food down nicely.
My bf ordered the grilled cheese with fries, & of course, lots of beer. His friend ordered a cheeseburger, I forgot which type, & the hottest wings they had. He too had lots of beer. His heat tolerance is very high, so they didn’t phase him.
Everyone enjoyed their food, but my bf says they added some pesto to his grilled cheese & he was not impressed. I guess it has changed since the last time we’ve been there.
We’ll occasionally head over to see the specials. Of course due to covid, they’re not as wowing in IMO.
But this place is still good & I’m glad they’re still in business.
This place used to be cool but there is an aggressively territorial crowd here, and I think management should start being mindful of that – it’s driving customers away.
