While the customer service inside is friendly and the play area for kids is definitely a plus, there are still several things this location needs to improve. Today marked my third issue with them.
First, when ordering salads online, it’s happened more than once that certain ingredients are missing—and you’re only told when you arrive to pick up the order. I understand that shortages happen, but it’s frustrating when it becomes a pattern.
Second, I once ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it tasted really bad—almost inedible. I’m not sure if it was just the time of day (around 8 p.m.), but the quality was disappointing.
Lastly, on the kids’ menu, I ordered French fries, but they were handed to me upside down in the bag. It might seem minor, but when you have a hungry child crying in the car, having to deal with spilled fries makes things unnecessarily difficult.
In short, while there are good things about this location, especially the staff and child-friendly space, there’s still a lot of room for improvement.

To the lady Cindy in the drive thru I LOVE YOU & THANK YOU, you’re the only one that knows how to do their job. Too the teenagers “running” this place, get a grip & learn how to work, if you want to stand around all day & gossip you shouldn’t have gotten a job, but don’t let that be the reason you ruin someone else’s day. Over five teenagers not able to get a order right for a simple sauce, & notable to stop gossiping long enough to turn around at the window & see people staring at you to get your attention, but CINDY SAVED THE DAY, Cindy came to the window & DID HER JOB. If you go to get food may as well ask right then for Cindy since she’s the only one capable of doing their job.

This is my PSA – do not, I repeat, do not order the new Honey Pepper Pimento sandwich! (You can thank me later. ) whomever decided to create this horrible horrible sandwich, and actually add it to the menu should be fired, immediately. Did they hire someone from the bud light marketing team??!! They messed with an original to the detriment of their somewhat solid reputation for fabulous chicken sandwiches. In addition, the last two visits to store no. 2896 the fries have been warmish, soggy and limp. The floors were even a bit dirtier than ever. I actually had to pick up a smooshed fry on the floor that was right beside my seat. The guy walking around cleaning the tables just kept walking on by all the trash on the floor.
UPDATE: (New photos added) The newly remodeled Chick-fil-A in Culpeper has redeemed itself!
The consistent staffing there is always friendly and it feels like you’re talking to a friend!
The food, specifically the fries, are finally back to normal. Fresh and lightly salted. There was a very brief time when the deluxe chicken sandwich didn’t have lettuce, but I believe that was a national scare of bad lettuce.
The deluxe chicken sandwich has been worthy of its name; nice thick, juicy breasts with fresh toppings!
The playground is always clean and in top shape. Very happy with our last several visits!
So here’s the deal. I love me some Chick-fil-A! However, the last two visits have been very disappointing.
The next to last visit, the fries were no better than fries that had time to cool and were limp and soggy. Moreover, they weren’t even salted – which seems to be a new trend for the Culpeper Chick-fil-A, unfortunately. So, my wife left a complaint, via the corporate customer support link, and Chick-fil-A decided to give us a free round of fries. (Which is odd, don’t you think?) We decided to give it another try. Armed with our free fries promo coupled with reward points, we had ourselves another almost-free meal. Here’s what happened…
We ordered our meal via the app around 1120am, so you’d think the fries would be fresh and hot. Nope. They were cool-ish, soggy, and not salted.
After begrudgingly eating the fries, I started on my spicy chicken deluxe. I thought there was no way Chick-fil-A could screw up one of their flagship sandwiches! Wrong again!! 3/4 of my sandwich was nothing more than fried batter. Literally, the last two and a half bites were chicken. So very disappointing.
And to completely ruin the meal, my two sons (2 and 3 yo) love getting fruit cups as a treat (although my 3 yo doesn’t like blueberries so I eat those) and to our surprise, the fruit cups were only half full!!!
Is this how Chick-fil-A rewards their customers??!!
Lately most of my food-related reviews have been negative so for my family this seems to be a trend in the wrong direction.
For the rising prices of a meal, and consistent lowering of quality food from Chick-fil-A, next time I’ll go somewhere else or just eat at home.
The only reason for two stars is they finally started putting less ice in your drink.
C’mon, Chick-fil-A… you can do better. You HAVE done better!

I’ve really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but the catering experience has become incredibly frustrating. Their online catering feature for Culpeper is basically useless—you can’t place an order for something as simple as a small tray of nuggets without a ten-hour lead time, and the catering manager never answers or returns calls. There’s zero customer convenience.
It honestly feels like they’ve gotten lazy and are resting on their laurels because Culpeper doesn’t have many good options. And to top it off, the nuggets are hit-or-miss lately—either overcooked or undercooked. The kids still love them, unfortunately, but the overall service and quality have really gone downhill.

Chick-fil-A is always terrific! Because of my wheat allergy, I love the fact they always have grilled chicken nuggets with no breading. They are always fresh and delicious. They’re fries are great also

The last 2 times, this being the 3rd ive mobile ordered my meal an waited 10 plus minutes each time an had to sit an watch 9 cars that didn’t mobile order pull around me leaving after getting their meal. I tried not to make it a problem the first 2 times but come on the purpose of mobile ordering is so I don’t have to sit and wait that long especially longer then customers that ordered their food when they got there …..

I am new to this area. Came to this Chick-fil-A walked to the cash register, and the young lady just looked at me and waited for me to say something. I thought this was very rude.

I totally enjoyed my spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and my wife had to try the new pretzel grilled chicken sandwich, which she really enjoyed. Great food and excellent service. Staff was friendly but yet professional.

Best Chick-fil-A we have visited. Today, we stumbled in to find a special event for kids. Our 2 Grandsons (3 & 5) were thrilled to see a Cow (person in costume) and receive free stuffed cow toys. What a fantastic place with great management
