Pitaziki is a pretty good option if you’re looking for a mediterranean-style build-your-own-bowl. They’re quite generous with ingredients, proteins, and sauces. The bowl option is a bit on the pricier side compared to options like Chipotle, but it may be worth it for the quantity of two meals.

A couple reviews suggested large portions sizes — one even said a rice bowl could be three meals — and I just need to correct that. The food itself is decent, not as good as it used to be. But the worst part is that I’m still hungry and it was not a cheap meal!!

Such amazing flavorful food!
We ordered the veggie combo meal and absolutely loved it! It was extremely flavorful and filling.
The service was quick and staff were friendly.
There wasn’t much waiting time when we went and the portions were super generous.

One of our favorite spots for Mediterranean food! I love the fast-casual set up, and how you can customize pretty much anything to your liking. Such a great value for the generous portion sizes, and everything is always so fresh and flavorful. I would 100% order that again on my next visit. Their hummus is amazing, and it’s nice that the falafel are prepared fresh to order. A great New Haven gem!

This was by far the best shawarma I’ve ever had. The meat was tasty, the fried cauliflower added a nice crunch as did the pickles and all the sauces were a nice addition. These fries are also the best type of fries. They are super crunchy and very flavorful.

I ordered a combo plate which per the description included fries, rice, chicken, gyro, falafel and toppings. I received no falafel, no fries, no sauce, and the toppings were extremely limited (a tablespoon of chickpeas, one grape leaf). The box wasn’t properly sealed and it was broken, so upon opening my stapled bag and trying to get my food out it spilled all over the bag and the floor. It’s the first time I’ve ordered from there and unfortunately it’ll be my last.

Went on my lunch/dinner break, ordered the chicken kabob, and the chicken tasted funny. I cut into some more pieces and I think its raw… Sure hope I dont get sick since i ate some!!
EDIT: It tasted raw dude. It looked and felt raw also. Hard to tell under all the seasoning and sauce. But it was 100% undercooked. Everyone I showed it to agrees it is raw. But thanks for your thoughtful response!!
EDIT 2: Wow! They edited their response. Of course theyre trying to pull the “thats not our food” card now. Ive added an additonal picture. Their response before was “Good evening, I’m sorry to hear about your experience, we always test our meats especially the chicken, we always make sure that it’s well above 165 degrees, so you don’t have to worry about getting sick, but I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy the taste.”
