The food is incredible. We tried a delicious sandwich today. I got ham my husband got Cajun turkey. They were delicious . Will definitely be back to get more. Love their bakery items. We’ve gotten the orange rolls and they were spectacular. The food is all so good Im gonna have a hard time not gaining all the weight I’ve lost .

Oh wow!! I was happy to find Lebanon Baloney and Colby Cheese at their deli counter!! Hubby found the Cinnamon Raisin Bread! We also got dehydrated mango, papaya and kiwi! There’s a lil bit of a whole lot of things! Jellies, jams and preserves, all kinds of candied things (chocolate covered), popcorn and cooking things – flours, seasonings etc. There are toys and Christian books. Then there’s the desserts!
Their delivery counter also makes sandwiches! We’d just eaten at The Old Cookstove (really, really good!!) But 1 or 2 of our group got a sandwich for dinner!

I dream about this place, you may thinks it’s just a sandwich but I promise you it’s the best sandwich in north Alabama and maybe the whole state. The fresh baked sourdough is out of this world but then you throw in fresh baked cakes, cinnamon rolls, etc… True definition of hidden gems that is so extremely affordable!

Nice clean store with Deli counter and a lot of food, cakes and candy. A lot of things made on site, but not all. Look carefully at what you are buying. The girl at checkout is very honest about the products they bring in, so I’m not saying they are trying to hide anything, just look closely if you want things that are prepared locally.

This was my 1st visit to Dutch Oven Bakery and, I have to say, it was awesome! My son & I were visiting friends in that area and we’re told about this place as a possibility for picking up some food for the drive back home and we really enjoyed the visit. Had we not been told about it, we would not have know to look for it as its humble appearance did not really stand out to me as I took in the beautiful surroundings, but that made this place even better, in my opinion.
Not only were the people who worked there the nicest we have encountered here in AL, (& their friendliness felt genuine!), but we were so pleasantly surprised by the fair prices which makes us definitely want to make the drive and go back! This quaint little shop felt nostalgic and was truly an enjoyable experience. We ordered a couple sandwiches and they were actually the best sandwiches we had in a while that were not grilled, or anything. The bread was soft, not mushy, the meats and toppings we chose were perfectly placed. We purchased several things as it was late in the day and neither of us had eaten yet since we were well past the time we planned to break our fasting, so we probably spent much more than we normally would yet we still got more for our money than we would have anywhere else and the quality of everything we’ve tried over the last couple of days had been impeccable!
Even my son, who rarely wants to go anywhere out in public, has stated he would love to go back which is a huge compliment!
We highly recommend this quaint little shop. It’s worth it!

Today was the first time I visited even though I’d passed by the billboard sign pointing to the store a few hundred feet away. I have to say I was amazed at the variety of products that they sell here. The prices are amazing also! There prices are much cheaper than what the “big box stores” charge and the products are better quality. I’m so proud that I stopped by. Will definitely be back and most definitely would recommend this place to everyone!

Our favorite place to visit when we are in the area. We always get sandwiches, cakes, bread, and yummy snacks. There are so many delicious treats to buy. The people are always super friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is well worth the trip. I can’t wait to go back when we are back in Alabama.

This was my first visit to the bakery and store. I loved it. I plan to return but they need a new cash register that shows what we purchased and how much it was. I only bought five items and they charged me for six yesterday. Since it’s that little tiny receipt, I can’t tell what it was. So I guess the overcharge is a donation to their church.
I am pleased with everything I bought, they are so nice and the service was great.
But I really couldn’t afford to be overcharged. This was a splurge for me.

What a tasty lunch after a beautiful drive! Highly recommend making the trip! The store has all kinds of delicious canned fruits and vegetables, fresh cakes, pies and candy! The deli has fresh meats and cheese, and the bread is made on-site. I enjoyed a Virginia Ham and Pepper Jack cheese sandwich on Cheddar Bacon bread, and my husband loved his Ham, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese on Sourdough! Even liked the kettle chips! Highly recommend!
