Between this Taco Bell and the Burger King on the Sunset stretch I dont know which one has the worst service and cold gross food. But, for real, hire people or teach your employees how to deliver Good Customer service! I was in the drive thru and the lady was rude as hell, I had to quickly back out of there, because why would I give business to a place with rude employees?

Waited over 15 min for a cheesy steak burrito that was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. And a steak crunch wrap that was almost all veggies. The steak had the consistency of beef jerky and tasted a little like it too. Worst taco bell I’ve ever been to.

I’ve lived in Waukesha for 9-10 years now, not once have I had my Oder handed to me in under 10 minutes, one time I waited 35-40 minutes for food, at this Taco Bell. Very slow, food made sloppy, sometimes cold. I’ve gone to this place DOZENS of times to just try, and nothing has or will ever change. Go to the one on slivernail !

I was surprised they asked for your name to announce orders. It was nice and made me feel like a person then a number. They even had a oval cystal bowl on the counter full of peppermints. Service was polite, looked professional and not tried like they didn’t want to be there.

There was a door dash driver waiting for about 15 minutes from what I saw but he was there before I was and 3 people got their food before he got his delivery. It also looked like there was 2 people working on Saturday at 12:00. 3 of the fountain drinks were not working even though the staff claimed they were.

We placed an order at 8 50 at night with almost no other customers both inside and in the drive through, multiple workers were sitting on there phone and 1 was even just sitting in the lobby. It took them 30 minutes to make 4 tacos and get 2 bags of chips and cheese sauce. After finally receiving the food we then did not receive one of the tacos and a bag of chips and dip which were both payed for and on the recipt. I then called the store looking for a partial refund but was denied it unless I come back to the store. I was only out there for bowling and live 40 minutes away so I will not be making a return. This store was a joke and horribly ran. Never advise eating here.

Sat in the drive through line for 15 minutes by the speaker without being acknowledged. Had to ask if they were taking orders before someone actually said something. Staff said they were “busy” but no customers inside of the store. They asked if I wanted any sauce, but when I was handed my food I wasn’t given any. So I asked for the sauce, and that’s when they said they were “out” of it. Also no napkins given and food wasn’t even hot. I’ll drive the extra 10-20 minutes to go to another location rather than returning to this one. Not worth the 25 minute wait in the drive through. Especially when it’s almost $15 for a meal now.

My experience at Taco Bell on Sunset in Waukesha today at 7:30pm was an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others. The service was beyond unacceptable, taking a ridiculous 45 minutes to receive a simple box order. The drive-thru and lobby had people, but it wasn’t really that busy; yet everyone was just waiting for their orders, and no one was actually eating. Employees were excruciatingly slow, moving without any sense of urgency or purpose. They weren’t even talking to each other—just aimlessly wandering, often walking one way only to turn around and walk back from where they came. It was infuriating to watch, and they seemed completely inattentive to customers’ needs. To make matters worse, they were forgetting items in customers’ orders. One employee was trying to verify orders but still continually got them wrong, and customers had to repeatedly request items to get their orders corrected, which only added to the frustration and chaos.
The hygiene practices were utterly deplorable. Employees were not wearing hairnets or beard nets properly. Shockingly, the manager, who was preparing food, was no better. His beard net was ridiculously placed on his hat instead of covering his beard. I also watched in horror as one employee, who had a beard with no beard net, scratched their face and then immediately handled food without washing their hands. Another took an order from a customer and went straight to preparing food without cleaning their hands or changing gloves. This blatant disregard for basic food safety standards was the final straw. Disgusted by what I saw, I demanded a refund and left to eat at a different establishment.
The complete lack of professionalism, missing items, and shocking hygiene violations made this visit unbearable. I won’t be returning to this location, and I strongly urge management to overhaul employee training, improve order accuracy, and enforce proper health regulations. Taco Bell on Sunset in Waukesha, this is inexcusable

Don’t do it keep driving. I know it’s Taco Bell.. I know they don’t have a lot of people here and I know it’s not the most glamorous job. So when I had to wait over 20 minutes I completely accept that. Yeah they looked annoyed while working and I get that also. Add to that we ordered 10 of whatever they are calling a chicken burrito now. I knew that would take awhile. But when we finally got our order and took it home we had a bunch of basically chicken less chicken burritos. I’m already waiting over 20 minutes gracefully just microwave some more chicken…
