I went through the drive-thru at the Provo, UT Wendy’s today and had yet another disappointing interaction with the manager, Carolina. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time she’s been rude—my past visits have been similarly unpleasant.

Despite trying to be polite, she cut me off abruptly when I asked for ghost pepper ranch, claiming they no longer carried it. She then slammed the drive-thru window shut without another word. I went inside to double-check and was given five packets of the sauce with no issue, proving she had lied.

When I got home, I discovered all the burgers in our order were cold. I called to ask what could be done, and she immediately identified our order, which made me feel like she knowingly gave us cold food. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she became rude and confrontational over the phone.

A manager should set the tone for customer service, but Carolina has consistently shown a lack of professionalism and courtesy. I did not feel safe or comfortable returning to the store to address the issue in person.

I would sincerely appreciate it if the general manager or store manager could contact me directly to help resolve the issue with my order. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I’d like to see that addressed properly

Cashier with dark curly hair was very rude. He wasn’t wearing a name tag or I would’ve reported him by name. He was frustrated that we had a large order. He took our payment and also handled food. I asked him if there was something we did to offend him and he didn’t answer. We usually have a great experience at Wendy’s but I will not return to this location because of our experience.

I have gone to this particular location since moving here seven years ago and it was OK up until this last year. The food has gone downhill tremendously! The service is not friendly at all. And more importantly, they overcharge or up charge a lot of different things on the menu. I have looked up what the costs are and they will charge anywhere from $.50 to almost a dollar or more on certain items such as soft drinks & coffee. I don’t know if this is a personal franchise, but someone needs to go back to learning how to train people on service. Needs to learn how to cook. I have found hair in food along with many other people who have found the same thing. Hair needs to be pulled back and or put in a net along with beards. This is not good and maybe we need to get the health inspector in on this, maybe make sure they have their food handlers certification. Just because the staff are teenagers does not mean that they are not supposed to have it because they are. The store is badly managed either by the manager itself or by the owner. Regardless whoever is in charge they really do not know what they are doing.
I will no longer patronize this store because of all the problems that they have. I have owned restaurants. I have been in the food business for 45 years plus. I stopped there today just to get a medium size soft drink (accordingly the average cost in Provo, UT the cost is around $2.69 for a medium drink which is still pretty dang high.) But when I went to check out, they wanted $3.50. That was sticker shock. I told them that they could keep the drink and this was after the girl was very rude on the speaker thinking that I was ordering a combo and not listening to what the order was. If you are patronizing the store be very careful what you are being rung up cost wise. Because I believe they’re gonna charge you. This isn’t the first time that I’ve had that happen and I refuse to pay And I’m going to get a hold of Wendy’s corporation to see what we can do. By the way the average cost for a medium drink at McDonalds is $1.69. Other places are around the same price.

Service here has gone downhill over the past year or so. The last few times I’ve picked up my mobile order inside around 6:30pm the latino young man up front has been extremely disrespectful, rude, arrogant, and confrontational all because I ask for ketchup. This evening was no different. I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt compelled to as this seems to be a pattern from other reviews. They were out of ketchup at the self serve counter and so I naturally asked for ketchup packets and he again gave me attitude for no reason. He also acts like he doesn’t even want to be there. It’s awful. This has got to change.

This review is on principle. You don’t get to overcharge customers compared to what your posted signage says and get anything better than a 1 star review when the employees are unable to do anything about it.

The Medium Hot Coffee is listed as a “Biggie Deal” for $0.97. On the road for the holidays and looking for a deal, that’s what I ordered
What I didn’t see though was that the coffee was in another place on the menu for $1.69. I was charged the higher of the two prices. When I asked the employees why this was, I just got a blank stare and the statement “Well, there’s only one button for medium coffee and that’s the price.”

Folks, feel free to check my review history. This is the second Wendy’s I’ve been to where I’ve found and documented pricing discrepancies. Once is a mistake. Twice in two different states is a problem. I don’t see myself returning to this corporation.

Came in for the Sponge Bob promotion.

Ordered 2 doubles then got to the park to eat and we got two singles.

The frosty which we asked for as a medium was very small.

I wasn’t going to say anything about the lack of effort for packaging which was a joke and really on the corporation but the order was completely wrong and the cashier being the most joyless person I have encountered in ages I can’t not.

Also we for 3 ketchup packets combined for two combos and one kids meal.

The older mexican manager woman refused to give me a full chili. She lied and said there is a line they fill to. But if you look at the chili on their website, it is filled to the top. I have never had ANY issues with other managers getting a full chili at Wendy’s. To top it off when I dumped the chili into a bowl it was very watery and more like soup. Not to mention hardly any meat or beans.

We had a starving student deal that is specifically for this location and the manager said they don’t accept those and it’s for other locations (even though we showed her it’s for this location on the thing). She was very rude and condescending to my wife when she just asked about why they didn’t take it. The burgers were very dry and terrible food quality.

I ordered a large size they fill half of it with old and small burned fries and they put in the top the new fries so you cant “notice it” until you reach them… 2 stars because the guy in there was nice and the bacon burger was ok…
Also, sometimes I order a chicken burger the chicken feel too dry and old… one time I ordered two, they told me one was ready and the other will take a while to make it, when we eat it, one was super old we could notice the difference because the other one was super hot (fresh). But the old one taste like it was at least 1 day old, didnt taste the same.
