Yopo’s is a fun Mexican restaurant that has a little bit of everything. We came late in the evening about an hour before sliding but we able to order anything from the menu. Now it does take awhile for the orders to come out but once they did we understood why. Each plate is made to order and the portions are huge. Each plate could easily be shared. I had the Fajita nachos, the chips were crispy, the cheese was melted the guacamole was a hardy serving. The Fajitas were well seasoned but the pieces were too large. The plastic utensils made it difficult to cut into smaller bite size pieces. That’s my only complaint. Their cake was delicious but I had to wait till the next day to eat it because I was so full. We also enjoyed the live singer and dancing.

From the outside this looked like a good option for supper. And the food photographs well. But it is not good. The place was in need of a serious cleanup as it looked like no one had gone through the places to check the tables and floors for food scraps and garbage. Truly awful experience.

While placing our order , a person came up to show them that his chicken was partially cooked. The meat in my tostadas was not even lukewarm. What a mess.

To be honest it wasn’t till this year, 2022, that I went for the first time to Yopo’s. I don’t know why it took me this long to go. I loved it. I love the taste of the burgers (amazing) and the fried pickles (delicious). The different salsas they have, taste great. My wife gets the Chile Tacos, and that as well isb very delicious, sometimes spicy, but always good. Don’t know how it is when there’s people because we always go right at opening time but time of service is quick. It’s a clean restaurant and the staff always nice and friendly. Will keep going back.

Next to the Veterns park with a large pond….beautiful setting and a great patio area. Unfortunately, the patio faces the street! Lol! We went during a very busy lunch hour but still received our food fairly quickly. The wings were OMG delicious and crispy. They were decent size too. I’ am a huge wing connoisseur and these wings were a 7 out of 10. The Buffalo sauce was good and the ranch was delicious. The burger was good nothing to write home about and the bun was soft and fresh. The fries…..not so good. Limp and oily, the fries were the worst part of the meal. We also ordered the fajita nacho plate which came out cold….probably due to the rush and large order for our table so I’m not going to judge to harshly because it still tasted good but the cheese wasn’t melted and “glued” everything together. Overall it was a great experience!

Went on Friday 11-21 music and dining area was very nice. Our food took a while. Chips and cheese is 8 dollars. Very little chips and came out with our order it was out of the bag it should have been delivered first. The Mexican plate and guises was ok but too expensive for the small portions. The Jalapeño poppers were huge and good.

Every time I visit the casino in Eagle Pass, I make it a point to stop at Yopo’s Tacos to enjoy their tacos rojos. The tacos are consistently well-prepared, with a satisfying crunch and rich, authentic flavor that keeps me coming back. The quality and consistency of the food are impressive, and it is clear that care is taken in both preparation and presentation. The restaurant has become one of my preferred destinations for a quick and flavorful meal in the area.

However, my overall rating is three stars due to the recent price increase. The cost of a dozen tacos has risen from approximately $12.99 to over $19. While the food quality remains high, the nearly doubled price makes it more challenging to enjoy what was once an affordable and casual dining experience. For regular customers or those seeking value for money, this increase may be disappointing.

Overall, Yopo’s Tacos continues to offer tasty and satisfying food, but the pricing now feels less accessible, which impacts the overall dining experience.
If it wasn’t so expensive, I would definitely get a 5 review.

They do live up to “the best burgers in town”. It was delicious . My husband and I enjoyed it very much, the cheese was definitely my highlight of the burger. 4 out of 5 mainly due to the fries and strawberry margarita. Ordered fried mushrooms and those are recommended for a mushroom lover! My daughter had the nuggets, no complaints there, so always a plus.

Food was good.
My only issue was the prices
(2) items was a total cost of $25+
I understand inflation and why the cost are passed down to the customer however, my believe is eventually as a business the pricing power you have should you decide to raise prices will run out…A few dollars less and the customers will come…

This place is good. A lot of people in the line, because only one cashier, taking orders on the phone and only one cash register. After taking our order 5 to 10 min. Waiting, they bring your meal at the table. A lot of sauces, drink fountain. Clean bathrooms but missing paper to dry hands. Chicken strips cook ok but smell. Torta was good with French fries. Drinks, ok.
