Quiet little bakery and coffee shop. They specialize in buns and great desserts, and the lattes are good, too. Met a few friends there for a meeting. Fairly quiet on a Friday morning, but a lot of in-and-out traffic with people getting their purchases to go. Would be a good place to sit and work if you can resist the temptation of the buns.

Popped into this bakery because it had a lot of good reviews. Definitely didn’t disappoint. They have a lot of the staple items and I enjoyed the drink variety at their shop. We got a dark pistachio bun and a ube cube. The cube was more esthetically pleasing than tasty. The filing wasn’t too sweet which was nice but the croissant was just any crossing. The dark pitacho item was a nice balance of sweet and salty from the pistachio pieces. As for drink the black sesame mocha latte was tasty and I would recommend it was a shot of espresso. The drinkable mocha was too chew and added a nice taste to the drink. The Sicilian americano I found delicious, it was my first time trying it. My boyfriend was not a fan of the citrus with coffee. I found it to take away the bitterness of the coffee and I usually avoid the flavor of coffee. If you want a new coffee to try it would highly recommend it! There was a lot of seating and the atmosphere was good for a hangout/date/ study time.

Bakery 1908 has the kindest staff and great food. I love their pastry variety from savory to sweet. Noodles, dumplings, and steamed buns. All the food is good. The drinks are tasty and made fairly quickly. I have been back twice now. Love the art on the walls and the open spaces.

Beautiful cafe, with great pastry, bubble tea, coffee, and dim Sum! Love that they have some savory items to balance the sweet buns. We had the rice in lotus leaf. The rice lacked the rich color from the lotus leaf but tasted good. Very clean and well kept, only concern is using the tongs to get buns. I saw a kid drop the tongs on the floor and put it back☹️

Bakery 1908 on Colonial Drive has quickly become one of my favorite spots to work and meet. I came here to cowork and have a business meeting with a friend, and it was the perfect environment.

The space is very spacious, spotless, and filled with beautiful natural light thanks to all the windows! Such a calm, productive atmosphere. I was able to get a solid amount of work done without feeling rushed or crowded.

Food-wise, everything was delicious. I grabbed a hot dog bun from the bakery, and also ordered the chive & onion chicken pan-fried dumplings, which were so flavorful and satisfying and let’s not forget the BROWN SUGAR LATTE OMGGGGG!

Great ambience, clean space, amazing food, and an overall relaxing vibe. I’ll absolutely be back!! Yay!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to work, meet, or just enjoy good food in a beautiful setting.

We recently stopped by Bakery 1908 in Orlando, the experience was definitely memorable. The bakery has a long history—established in 1908—and you can feel that tradition in the quality of their breads and pastries.

We tried several items, and each one stood out in its own way:

Golden Onion with Cheese & Ham – This was the star of the visit. The savory flavor and soft texture make it one of their best sellers. Our friends loved it too—unanimously!

Chocolate Lava Bread – Rich, chocolatey, and satisfyingly soft. A great pick if you enjoy indulgent pastries.

Coffee Bread – Smooth coffee flavor with just the right sweetness. Very enjoyable.

Sweet Heart Puff – Some of our friends tried this as well and really liked it. Light, sweet, and beautifully flaky.

They also offer a membership program. I signed up and received a free bread, which of course had to be another Golden Onion—too good to pass up.

Overall, Bakery 1908 feels like a great spot for both savory and sweet treats, and it’s easy to see why their recipes have lasted more than a century.

What an Orlando’s gem! It’s a national treasure I tell you. When you first walk in to their shop/cafe, all of your senses can’t helped but rejoicing and jumping up and down!

They have a good amount of pastries and bakeries selections as well as the food from the kitchen and the beverages

We’ve picked up a good bit of bakeries and coffees, as well as Dim Sum Shumay

Great prices and service were great!!! Staffs were very friendly. Atmosphere was great.

Plenty of seating areas, indoor and outdoor. Parking areas was ample! Plenty plenty!

Will be back again 100% to Bakery 1908

Door dashed 4 items. BBQ pork dumplings = okay. Not bad, not great. Black truffle Har Gow = okay. Mainly strong shrimp flavor, didn’t really get the truffle taste. Siu Mai = ruined everything. Took a bite, felt chewey, looked down to see raw pork throughout the dumpling.. I haven’t tried the Coffee Mousse Cake yet, because I lost my appetite after seeing that. The cake looks good though.

We’re not from the areas so when my husband saw on the google that there’s a bakery where we was we decided to see what type of bakery is.
When I walked in I was like wow.
I can’t get only one thing at this bakery. If we live here I can come here every week and buy more stuff that I can get yesterday.
They have lots of stuff!!
Similarity with Paris baguette type of bakery they have many different rolls, breads and cakes but I feel like this bakery has more items than Paris baguette.
Michael H was in the cashier check us out and he had great personality!
Definitely happy stopping by here.
