This location is so dysfunctional. Every once in a while I try again and always regret it. Today I went in for a crispy chicken sandwich. That’s it, simple order. Got to my destination and it was an entirely different burger. Wait time is usually so long I stopped going here. Apparently nothing has changed. That’s what I get for trying fast food for once.

I went to Wendy’s on Colman Ave In New London, CT. And It was an Amazing experience!… First of all I read a few reviews about cleanliness and can say it was very clean and smelled great!… There was a very pleasant and very Good Looking man named Danny that was busy Cleaning up and he was smiling like crazy and very polite and helpful with all my questions about the area. Then after receiving my Food he held the door open for me like a proper Gentleman and still smiling with Beautiful Blue Eyes!. Highly recommend this Wendy’s!

Is this a scam???? It took me a little while to process what just happened. My total came to $9.96, and when I got to the window, the cashier handed me back $10 and said, “Sorry, we don’t carry pennies anymore.” I told her it was fine and pulled up, but then I started thinking about it.

How is it possible that a business doesn’t carry pennies? Customers pay with them, so where do they go? If pennies aren’t given back, that means the company is essentially keeping people’s change. Four cents may not seem like a big deal, but if it happens on almost every transaction, that adds up to a lot of money. It’s not going to the employees or the customers—it just goes straight to the franchise owner.

I’ve never heard of a policy like this before. I do want to say the food was very good, and I’ll come back, but this really needs to be addressed.

Not good. Haven’t been to a Wendy’s in a while. On a road trip with my kids and they wanted to try frosties. The food was fine. The restaurant and service were terrible. Bathrooms were gross – flies all over toilet, puddles on floor. There was also a massive spill – I hope a beverage – by the beverage/condiments area that no one was paying attention to, just puddles in the bathroom, puddles in the restaurant. The service was not good either. Ordered a kids meal, didn’t get the apple slices, and I had to ask a second time to get one of the two frosties I ordered. Very unappetizing experience. I hope this is not reflective of Wendy’s in general, I loved it growing up.

I haven’t been to this location in nearly a year, but I was extremely disappointed in both the quality and service.

I used the drive-thru around 11:30 AM and asked the person working if they had baked potatoes available. I was told they did. I proceeded to order a baked potato, a 4-piece, and a 6-piece nugget (using a mobile coupon to get the 4-piece for $1). I paid $11 and change after the coupon.

When I arrived at the second window, I was suddenly told they were out of baked potatoes. I informed the woman at the window that this changed my entire order and asked if I could just do the Biggie Bag with the 4-piece nugget and cancel the 6-piece.

Apparently, they thought they could make that change without offering a refund. When I asked about the refund, I was told, “Well, I gave you the 6-piece with the Biggie Bag, and the Biggie Bag costs more than the potato.” I responded, “I specifically asked for the 4-piece. Changing what I ordered doesn’t make this right.” Again, they offered more food I didn’t ask for.

At this point, I had to ask to speak with the manager, who also tried to convince me that the Biggie Bag costs more than the potato. This is very simple math: a $6 Biggie Bag plus a $1 4-piece (with coupon) equals $7 plus tax—not the $11+ I was charged.

I finally got frustrated enough to tell him he could take the entire bag back and just refund me. At that point, he agreed to refund me for at least the 6-piece nugget. I accepted that just to be done with this mess, as it would bring the cost closer to what I should have paid in the first place.

After leaving, I realized I never received the drink that was supposed to come with the Biggie Bag. On top of that, the fries were cold, the bun was incredibly stale and inedible, and the burger was so dry it didn’t even taste like a Wendy’s burger. The only decent part of the meal was that the nuggets were fresh.

I will certainly not be returning to this location. I don’t know what’s going on there, but it has gone completely downhill since my last visit.

I was waiting in line for 15 minutes, when I went to the window they did not give me anything of what I ordered. I asked for the Jr bacon cheese burger and I got a cheese burger. I asked for baconator fries and found hair in the cheese!!! I also didn’t receive any nuggets with my 4 for 4 order! Im so disgusted.

Hot honey chicken sandwhich came with barely any sauce but managed to be soggy. barely any bacon on baconator fries. not to mention it took me 30 minutes to wait to get my order taken and get my food. its supposed to be fast. workers were disinterested and moaning, groaning and complaining. worst sevice ever

Service waz great 4 today. But cant say much for my beaconator. Nt busy inside. As u see bacon all piled on one side. Itz 1 slice of bacon broken into 2 sm & a quarter pieces. On the botom 1 slice broken into 3 equal sm piecess. Fair cheese on botom of bread & only on the top of first patty.. Definitely lookz nutn let any pictures i saw. Where bacon hangn out . which lookz like 6or 4regular slices. 3 or2 on top wit cheese on top & botom patties.. I know never looks like the picture but it’s definitely false advertising. For sm meal wit $2off coupon costing abt $9.00 and change should be better. Again not busy inside. Drive thru. Semi busy.. Is wat it is pretty sad when you habe to re arrange your own buger to male it lookgood & get even bites. Iknow they were short on staff couple dayz ago they closed the inside around 4pm or b4. Reopened it around 7 or 8pm maybe. It waz cold inside while the entrance seemed to have more heat than the window siting.. I wrked a a Wendy in the 80’s & in. Early 2000’s. This is sad or not really happened. Hell we had to toast buns on machine. On kiser rolls. Seeds or no see. I miss Big classic’s. The quad big classic 4 patties. I knw itz nt fast food Wendyz alwayz made to order. & what happened to the cheese & broccoli potato. U suck Dave. .
