We came here for seafood and overall the food was good. The fish was the highlight for sure. We ordered three different whole fish, not 100 percent sure of the names but they were cooked really well, fresh, and full of flavor. The shrimp were also really good and nicely seasoned. You can tell the seafood quality is high. I really liked that they have the fish displayed and you can choose which one you want, that part feels unique and fun.
The portions were a bit hit or miss though. The calamari and fries felt smaller than expected, especially for the price. Also the squid dish was very small compared to the others, which was disappointing.
Service was okay but not great. The staff didn’t really check on us much, no napkins and things felt a bit slow at times. Nothing terrible, just not attentive.
Overall, the food quality is strong, especially the fish and shrimp, but the portion sizes on some dishes and the service could definitely be better. I’d come back for the fish, but hoping they improve the service and portions next time.

Not going to lie, it was a little on the expensive side, or I might have ordered a lot since we took a lot home back with us.
But the customer service and the quality of food is absolutely well worth the trip and the price.
Food is outstanding, and the staff are excellent. I will go back and I’ll be mind full of the portions I order lol

We visited this restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The food was so delicious, the portions were large, it was very clean and the prices were good. I recommend visiting.

It was our first time there. We were a bit confused at the beginning, as the waiter brought some water and left. Then we waited, waited and waited for almost 10 min until one new customer came in and went to order his food at the counter/fish display. We didn’t know that and nobody explained that…
Anyway, except that incident, the food was excellent. Soft, delicious, well cooked. A bit heavy on the salt but nothing too uncomfortable.
We ordered too much food, like almost every customer I could see. Everyone asked for those take out boxes.
Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was disappointed with my visit to Kahlil Seafood. They don’t display prices anywhere on the product, and the staff didn’t mention them when ordering and weighing, which felt confusing when come the time to pay. I was also surprised to see a 3% extra charge for paying by credit card.
The washroom was in really bad shape it smelled bad, had no paper, and the door knob was missing. That left a poor impression.
The only positive part was the staff, they were polite and friendly.

Oh dear lord: The food at Khalil’s is *amazing* – I tried stingray for the first time and I’m telling you: It’s not going to be the last time!
The people here are incredibly friendly and patient with a couple of people who’d never ordered a meal from a bed of raw fish (and sting ray!) and then asked how we’d like it prepared, before.
Man, oh man, that food was GOOD!!!

We went to this restaurant as a family of Six. This was our second visit and it wasn’t bad from the first step into this place. We tried almost everything they have in their fridge and we liked the way they turn them into fried or grilled platters. And the waitress was checking on us multiple times to ensure that everything was good. Until we met the person who was cashing us out, he was not the friendlier individual you could meet, but I just swallowed it just not to ruin family gathering. But overall the experience, service and food are great and will definitely visit them again.

Honestly can’t stop going back and back to this place. The food is absolutely divine. We found it by chance and haven’t stopped making friends discover the place to enjoy going back with them. Seafood is cooked to our liking. The sides are always done with taste and balance. One of the best eating spots in Orleans. Everyone is also super friendly. Staff always helpful.

Under new management, it seems the quality has decreased. We ordered 5 pieces of salmon but only 4 came. They tried to convince us we only ordered 4. They also were using a very strong smelling cleaner pine-sol which interfered with the smell of the food. The food tasted great but the cashier at the end on September 21, at 7:15pm did not seem to even have a smile on his face. Very disappointed in the customer service this time
