Great time, enjoyed everything about this place. Such a down home Southern setting and felt like you went back in time.

Food was incredibly delicious .

Waitress was spot on and took very good care of us.

Can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu!!!

The ice cream at S&T Soda Shoppe is delicious, but the real scoop is the atmosphere! From the jukebox to the vintage soda fountain decor, this place is like stepping back in time. A sweet treat and a fun experience all in one—don’t miss it

The atmosphere is outstanding, set up like an old school pharmacy. The staff was wonderful and the food simply delicious. I had Chicago Hot Dogs which me back to the taste of my hometown. Tasted just like home. My wife had a cheeseburger all the way and it was awesome. We both had hot chips with ranch. Wonderful eating experience. I didn’t have enough room for all the different ice cream sundae, banana split, shakes or any dessert. It looked great.
I very highly recommend stopping by for a meal. The best anywhere!

The atmosphere is wonderful if you want to step back in time to get the experience of an old fashion ice cream parlor. The upstairs is especially cool and a great place to have a private party. The service was some of the best I have had in a long time. The food is good and reasonably priced. Their fresh squeezed lemonade is my favorite drink there. If in Pittsboro, it’s worth a stop!

The staff is so sweet and this place has SO much charm. The history is really interesting and I’d consider this spot a fixture of Pittsboro. The food and desserts they have are also yummy, so definitely stop by 🙂

Awesome location and wonderful atmosphere! It’s decorated with a historic vibe, a true soda shop from days past! Antiques were literally everywhere. The staff were super sweet! Food was good, we got too full to try a dessert. Next time we visit, we’ll be sure to leave room in our tummies. Their floats are great! The Cherry Smash drink, I closed my eyes everytime I took a sip! As we were paying, the lady saw my son’s fascination with the jukebox and offered him a quarter to play it! What a kind gesture! We’ll be back, ready for a sweet treat

Awesome trip back in time to when towns had an old fashioned soda fountain and shake shop. They make a nice Egg Cream and a great Creamsicle Shake, which those of us from New England call a frappe. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Over priced. Paid $60 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 shakes. Our waitress couldnt answer any questions about the menu and didnt know the menu like she should have. Not worth the price. Guy who rang us out was a bit rude when we asked why our bill was so high. Our milkshakes were barely filled half way and weren’t even that good for the price also.

This is a cute place and definitely serves up the nostalgia. The soda and ice cream drinks were all delicious and the food was decent. My experience with the staff was why I gave this only three stars. The man behind the register who I’m assuming is also responsible for directing people to their seats let us stand there by the door for way too long. I get that this place is all down home and folksy and it’s expected that this guy is going to chat with you a little bit before he hands you your change. But there was only one person at the register and this guy talked to her for like 15 minutes about God knows what. Come on, man! There’s customers here. All he had to do was interrupt this conversation for 30 seconds to deal with us. Also, I found out after the fact that there was an upstairs seating area we could have gone to. Didn’t know about it because this guy was too busy gabbing with somebody else to tell us.

The waitress was nice but so inexperienced and unknowledgeable about the menu that it really detracted from the whole experience.

It seems like most other people have a really great experience there, so maybe I am an outlier. I debated on whether or not to leave this review, but they should know not everybody’s having a great time there
