I ordered an apple pie, but I came home with a strawberry. Everything was good enough. I love their black contenders, but I just feel like the level of service could be better. For one meal, small tender and a pie, it was 19 something price is atrocious.
Edit: being heard is much appreciated, and gives me faith that concerns will be addressed where possible.
Why was my chicken sandwich cold? Why were the fries cold? After I waited 30 minutes I’d expect my food to be served hot.
I’ve been to better Popeyes in third world countries.
An update: I got a nice response from someone (a manager?) when I did this original post saying I should give them another chance. So I went back today. Still being told to wait before asking for my order in the drive thru, even though I was the only car. Finally was able to tell them I had a mobile order. She told me they were out of mac n cheese, one of my wife’s favs. I was told to park because the order wasn’t ready and they would bring it out. Tick tock… got my food, checked the bag, and had to go into the store (It was unlocked!!) to get the drink and substitute side that was supposed to come with my sandwich combo. Sigh. And, the real kicker, didn’t realize until I got home – I also ordered a 5 piece classic meal. I got 3 pieces of spicy, 2 of classic.
The service was great!!
The staff was fast, friendly, and made sure and double checked my order to make sure it was correct.
I only had to wait 5-10 mins for my meal, but it was fresh!!
My portions were also great! Usually the mash potatoes and fries; we don’t get a lot, but it was full! Overall, everything was great.
The restaurant is dirty, and the staff cannot get ahead or caught up. There were four or five people waiting for mobile orders and no one would come to the front for you to take an order at the counter. When I finally did get someone to recognize me at the counter, they just told me “ you’ll have to wait until we get the screen caught up!”
Nope! I will not wait until you guys can get caught up. You should have taken my order at least, let me get something to drink, and then I would have sat down and waited patiently.
Just drove across the street to another restaurant. Served right away. No problem.
They told me to pull up front to receive my order. So I did, and ended up waiting for ten minutes (I was keeping track with the clock on the dash of my car), before I turned off my car and went inside to inquire about my order. I waited until a staff member noticed me. She called over her shoulder for someone else. After a few moments, another woman came to the counter and asked how she could help me. I told her I had been waiting in front of the restaurant for my order. She asked what the order was. After waiting another three minutes, I finally got my order. They threw in a free apple pie for the wait.
The menu is a few torn pieces of paper taped to the counter. The first menu in the drive thru is all beat up. It is missing a panel and the cover of another panel is loosely swinging back and forth. There are rats running through the drive thru.
