Cozy, fun breakfast spot!

I went here with my wife over the weekend and it was a fun spot were wished we tried sooner! They have it decorated so nicely for Valentine’s Day and the whole resturant feels warm and cozy.

I got the corned beef and hash and it was delicious! It’s a little hard to tell in my photo since the eggs are covering most of it but they give you a ton of corn beef! They also make it my favorite way with the corned beef a little charred on the bottom! My wife got the chicken sandwich and it was simple and delicious.

They have been able to keep their prices very reasonable which we appreciate greatly!

Overall it’s a fun breakfast spot that feels like a step back in time!

Old school diner feel, place needs a little updating, but it’s cozy. Decorations are 10/10, service is decent. They have really good breakfast and coffee. I created my own omelette and got the pumpkin pancakes.
Would def recommend trying. Wait wasn’t too bad, it moves quick. Parking is tricky and they only have one bathroom per gender. Which can be a little annoying.

A nice local dineresk little spot. They decorate it according to the upcoming holiday or season. The food was great. I wasn’t super hungry so I decided to get the egg & cheese on a roll. Thought it would be simple but it is one of the best egg & cheese sandwiches I’ve had. The homefries we’re not super crispy but had good flavor. Good chocolate chip pancakes

I’ve been coming to Mundays Diner in Huntington since I was in high school, and now that I’m in my 30s I still love it. The decor is always fun, the food is consistently good, and there’s a waitress with reddish hair (I think her name starts with a P) who absolutely lights up the place. She’s honestly one of the only waitresses I’ve ever remembered because she’s just that great.

But I have to say — I still miss the old house-made chicken tenders. They used to be fresh, hand-breaded, and served with the best honey mustard. They were honestly my favorite thing on the menu and the reason I’d order them every time. I wish they’d bring those back because they were truly special and way better than the typical frozen-style nuggets you find everywhere else.

Edit: I was just reading through some of the older reviews and noticed that multiple people had actually written about how Mundays arguably had the best chicken tenders in all of Huntington. That honestly made me feel a little validated because those tenders really were something special. It just surprised me to see that other people had taken the time to rave about them too, which makes it even more surprising that they were changed. With reviews like that, I would’ve thought those tenders would be something worth keeping exactly the way they were.

What a gem of a place!

Enjoyed my time sitting at the counter and having some fresh coffee with my breakfast.

Nothing beats the atmosphere of a good diner.

Ate here with my family for brunch. My friend who lives here locally recommended this place, calling it a hidden gem, but the real hidden gem was our server, Joan C! She’s been working here for 40 years!!! She had a great sense of humor and made sure we knew all of our flavor/side options when we were ordering our meals. She even introduced us to the owner, Jim. He was working hard alongside his staff the entire time we were there. The whole place was decorated for Valentine’s day, so it felt so homey and is a great place for pictures too!

Our family was in town from Florida and we were referred by a local and saw it on Google as well. So glad we went! It is 100+ years old and such a fun, historic spot, their decor is amazing (Valentines was what we saw), the owner was friendly, our server Joan C was so attentive and knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend and go back!
