Picked up my online order and received a burrito that was the smallest one I’ve ever gotten here. And they forgot my lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. Queso was all over the wrapping – and the rice was undercooked and crunchy. This is the worst location!

Stopped here as it was a late night at work. Had to try to signal for a worker to come and help. They then apparently had two or three orders sitting there waiting. The food looks like it has been sitting there for hours, dried up, not inside its proper containers.
The one worker acted like he was drunk or high. Pretty poor excuse for a food establishment.
Update this to include Doordash 6/7/25: Ordered to try them out again, thought that during the day could be better. The shells were dry. They did not provide the sauces; They only did some of the toppings I selected. I would not recommend this location at all.

I had a great experience at Pancheros in Altoona, IA. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Gabe, Eliseo and Kent went above and beyond to make sure my order (chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla) was exactly how I wanted it, and kept a positive attitude. The team worked efficiently, communicated well, and made the whole experience enjoyable. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in their service. I’ll definitely be coming back! Excellent customer service all around!
Also, Gabe was very good with customer service. I would highly recommend to promote to a team leader!!!

Gave it a 2nd shot 12.27.2025 and it was worse. Plastic in a burrito is crazy work. Never again, it had me gagging.

2nd time eating here, I let it slide the first time, I figured i must’ve caught them at end of shift but today was middle of shift 12pm…they dont know how to wrap a burrito, I order on mobile app and they still took forever I was better off going through the line. Then they put my sauce in the bag upside down so it drips out and then didnt even wrap the burrito correctly with the wrapper. I live 5 mins or less from there and food was cold/Lukewarm and the shell was hardened by time i got home. They look like they don’t even want to work there whole atmosphere is off, good parking though and that’s the only thing that’s good.

They never have cilantro lime vinaigrette, it makes me mad because it makes my bowl taste so much better. All other locations have it except for this one, i feel like there to lazy to prep it for there customers. I use to go a lot but now I don’t because i am upset.

It’s great unless you Door dash. Every time I come here I have to wait a long time. One time it was over 90 minutes. Like I said, of you’re eating in it’s great. If you order door dash, have a snack because it’s going to be a while.

Edit: 3/7/ 2025 since my original review in December, the food quality has significantly improved and so has the customer service. i changed to four-stars. I will not be deleting the previous portion of my review so that it remains documented.
I tried a walk-in order today 12/9/2025 and seeing the food I almost walked out the beans were all goo with no liquid and the queso looked burnt and the meat was all dried out. I threw out half my burrito it was so dry. Im not sure if they are short staffed or what the reason for this was.

Inconsistent military discount policy. One staff will offer free drinks and other time..no discounts or drinks. Come on..be consistent and considerate to your vets. Either you offer discounts to the vets or you don’t.
Staff were not friendly and rather rude. Staff and the manager at this location could really use customer service training.
Food was good. They reduced the size of the burrito.
Food service sector is a very competitive, especially $10 burrito is a niche. The staff and manager do not meet my expectations. I do not recommend this location.
