One of my favorite breweries on the planet!! Huge, beautiful historical building in little ol’ Hillsboro WI. 39 beers on tap. Full menu of delicious eats. Shuffle board. Pool. 3 large TV’s to watch the Badgers on. Make this a destination on your travels through the Driftless Area.

So I dont get out this way often, but I am going to have to more often.
First the food was above average. The Mexican corn dip was great and the taco salad with lime chicken was also very good.
Second the beer was solid. I got a flight of four different scouts and they were each noticeably different and good.
Lastly, and most importantly the service was great. We had a group of 5 on a snowy night that wasn’t too busy, but the bartender/server was friendly and spot on. The most important part was we were just chit chatting and not paying attention, lost track of time and stayed 30 minutes past closing of 8 on a Wednesday night. Never were pressured to get out, which would be reasonable for a slow night. Would come back for that reason alone.

Great Wisconsin brewery with local flavors on tap and plenty of selection to fulfill everyone’s needs. My wife likes ultras and the pups beer was a very close comparison. Games for people to play along with seating inside and outside!

My favorite brewery in the WORLD!!! We drove 1.5 hours out of our way to get to this brewery. The atmosphere is amazing! The beer selection is the best with 30+ craft beers on tap. The food is incredible. Make sure you try their pizzas (1/2 order feeds 2 adults) and sandwiches. The bicycle trail is very close to the brewery and is a great place to stop while riding.

Wait for the food was a tad slow, service was friendly. I enjoyed my mushroom and Swiss burger 8.6/10, the pretzel bun is great, gravy good, patty was a tad dry and Swiss cheese good. The cheese curds were solid 8.4/10. Blueberry Hefeweizen was fantastic 9.1/10. Shandy was solid 7.3/10. Pickles were amazing 9.6/10. Excellent environment for community, variety of games options and a good place to catch a game.

This brewery was a little out of our way, but definitely worth the trip. We love breweries with great atmosphere and great beers and this has both. We had a delicious appetizer but it was suggested that we come back for pizza. The brewery was large with great areas for lounging and drinking. The selection of beers was large and we were able to find multiple beers with different styles/flavors that were delicious. We would definitely make an effort to return.

Love this place, honestly the only reason I live in Hillsboro. Lela is such a personable bar tender…would be nice to see her on the floor sometimes as I only ever get to see her at the bar! Wyatt technically is also fantastic.
Favorite pizza is Uncle Tony’s. Joe beer and the Shady are my go to.

First time checking out Hillsboro and the building caught my eye. Walked in and was absolutely mind blown. Immediately when you walk through the front door it opens up into this massive space. Brewery equipment, a bar/seating area, lounge with tabletop games, gift shop, massive conference/wedding venue upstairs. All accented with beautiful brick walls and warm lighting. Huge beer selection and everything I tasted was top notch. The employees are so friendly and outgoing, and Wyatt definitely stood out with his incredible attitude and personality. He was just so overly optimistic about working here that it was contagious.

Stopped by on a whim, very limited menu. However, it is a brewery, so fair enough… My wife had the drunk fungi burger as I had the rueben with a side of beer fries and we ordered an appetizer as well…mexican streetncorn dip, Dip was not bad at all, got even better when we added the jalapeños

The pretzel bun in her burger made It interesting, however very chewy bun holding a bland frozen burger patty(yes it was cooked to satifaction) however very good Swiss cheese, We were just hoping for a good smash burger. Let’s get to the rueben! This may well be the best rueben I’ve had in Wisconsin. The bread was top-notch, great dressing. And full flavored slabs of corned beef briskit and a saurKraute 2nd to none…. And get this….ready??? $10 for the sandwich $2 for the beer fries, which were very good as well. Waitress was friendly and attentive but busy. So for dinner & drinks under $40 for us.
